Cash and credit cards are accepted. Checks are not accepted.
Purchases totaling over $5,000 require payment by wire transfer. At the discretion of Simplicity Estate Solutions, a credit card may be accepted for purchases over $5,000; however, a 3% credit card surcharge will apply.
All invoices must be paid in full before items may be removed or shipped.
Scheduled pickup dates and times are firm. If you are unable to pick up your purchases during the posted removal period, please do not bid unless other arrangements have been approved by Simplicity Estate Solutions prior to bidding.
Buyers are responsible for bringing any necessary help, tools, equipment, packing materials, and an appropriately sized vehicle needed to safely remove their purchases.
After the scheduled removal period has ended, unpaid invoices may be processed as NO SHOWS. No-show bidders may be subject to penalties and/or account restrictions in accordance with K-BID policies.
Items that have been paid for but are not picked up by the end of the scheduled removal period will be considered abandoned unless prior arrangements have been approved by Simplicity Estate Solutions.
Abandoned items may be disposed of, donated, resold, or otherwise handled at the discretion of Simplicity Estate Solutions. No refunds will be issued for abandoned items.
Payment for an item does not entitle the buyer to indefinite storage or pickup after the scheduled removal period.
Employees of Simplicity Estate Solutions are not available to lift, carry, load, disassemble, or transport heavy or oversized items.
Please bring sufficient help and any tools or equipment necessary to safely remove your purchases. Buyers are responsible for any damage caused to the property or other items during removal.
We make every reasonable effort to provide accurate photographs and descriptions. However, all items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, items are in used condition and should be expected to show signs of age, use, wear, dust, scratches, staining, fading, or other imperfections.
Descriptions, measurements, model numbers, dates, materials, artist/maker identifications, and other information are provided to the best of our ability but should not be considered a guarantee of authenticity, condition, completeness, or functionality.
It is the bidder's responsibility to review all photographs, read the complete description, ask questions, and determine the condition and suitability of an item before bidding.
Items may be available for inspection by appointment when stated in the auction details.
All sales are final. No refunds, returns, exchanges, or chargebacks will be accepted based on condition, buyer's remorse, or failure to inspect an item.
Buyers are responsible for inspecting their purchases before removing them from the auction premises. Once an item has left the premises, no refund or adjustment will be made.
When an item is described as “tested,” this means only that the specific function stated in the description was tested. It does not constitute a guarantee that every feature or component operates properly.
Items described as “gets power” have only been verified to power on and have not necessarily been tested for full functionality.
Items described as “untested” have not been tested for operation and are sold as-is with no guarantee of functionality.
Shipping is available on select items only. Please review the shipping availability for each lot before bidding.
Auction purchases and shipping charges are billed separately. Buyers must first pay their auction invoice in full. Shipping, handling, packing materials, and insurance are NOT included in the auction invoice.
Buyers requesting shipping must select the shipping option through the auction website. After the items have been packed, measured, and weighed, a separate shipping and handling invoice will be issued through Square.
We primarily ship using UPS Ground and UPS Ground Saver. Shipping charges are based on package size, weight, destination, packing materials, insurance when applicable, and the amount of handling required.
When multiple lots are purchased, we will make every reasonable effort to combine items into as few boxes as safely possible.
Handling fees are $15 for the first lot and $10–$15 for each additional lot, depending on the amount of wrapping, packing materials, labor, and care required. Clean recycled packing materials may be used when available.
Due to the increased risk of damage and the additional labor and materials required, we generally do not ship large or fragile wall art, glass items, musical instruments, oversized items, furniture, or other items we determine to be particularly difficult or risky to ship.
If you are interested in shipping one of these items, contact us BEFORE bidding. In some circumstances, shipping may be possible with prior approval and additional packing/handling charges.
Due to the volume of items and shipping requests, please allow up to 10 business days for shipping to be processed after the auction closes and the auction invoice has been paid.
We generally begin processing shipments the following week; however, processing times may be longer during particularly busy periods.
Simplicity Estate Solutions makes every reasonable effort to package items safely and securely. However, once a package has been transferred to the shipping carrier, Simplicity Estate Solutions is not responsible for loss, theft, breakage, damage, delays, or other issues occurring during transit.
Any applicable shipping or insurance claim will be subject to the policies and procedures of the shipping carrier.
By requesting shipping, the buyer acknowledges and accepts these shipping terms and understands that all shipping and handling charges are separate from the auction purchase price.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
By placing a bid, the bidder acknowledges that they have reviewed the item description, photographs, auction information, pickup requirements, shipping terms, and these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
Auction Terms Addendum
This auction is contracted and managed by an independent affiliate. By placing a bid, you agree to both the auction-specific terms listed on this page and the K-BID User Terms and Agreements.
Platform Role
K-BID Online, Inc. (“K-BID”) operates and maintains K-BID.com as a venue for independent auction companies (“Affiliates”) to conduct online auctions.
Affiliates are independent entities and are not employees, agents, or representatives of K-BID. K-BID’s knowledge of individual auctions is limited to the information provided on the website.
Bidder Responsibilities
By placing a bid, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with all applicable terms.
Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.
Item Condition
All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.
Buyer’s Premium
If applicable, Buyer’s Premium caps are applied per item, not per invoice.
Auction Process
Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.
