This exceptional piece is unmistakably reflective of Johnny Cash’s late-career style—bold, refined, and intentionally modern. The presence of both white and irradiated blue diamonds set into heavy 14k white gold speaks to a custom design likely acquired for private wear rather than stage use. The square profile and gemstone layout are consistent with 1980s men's high-end fashion rings and strongly indicate boutique or designer-level craftsmanship.
Given the documented provenance directly linking the ring to a purchase from June Carter Cash at the House of Cash and its identification by Cindy Cash, the authenticity and historical significance are well supported.
Based on public and private market results for similarly customized rings belonging to celebrities of equivalent stature, particularly when paired with such ironclad provenance.

All items described as platinum, gold (10k–18k, yellow or white), Platlite, or sterling silver are guaranteed to be solid metal — never filled or plated.
Any item described as a diamond is guaranteed to be a genuine, natural diamond unless otherwise stated. If a lab-grown diamond is present, it will be clearly noted in the description.
Gemstones — including rubies, sapphires, emeralds, alexandrite, tanzanite, amethyst, citrine, topaz, morganite, and others — may be natural, lab-created, color-enhanced, glass-filled, crystallized, or laser-treated. Natural stones will be labeled as such. Carat weights are approximate and typically fall within a 10% range of stated size due to mounting constraints.
Any appraisal, auction estimate, or stated retail value reflects the opinion of the evaluator based on comparable new jewelry in the current market. In the event that bidding rights are terminated due to no-show invoices, bidders MAY be reinstated at the discretion of K-BID only after a penalty fee of 20% of the unpaid invoice(s) and a reinstatement fee of $25.00 has been paid to K-BID and a scanned copy of your driver's license emailed to us. INVOICED ITEMS WILL NOT BE AWARDED. The payment is punitive and meant to deter no-shows. Duplicate bidder accounts will be deactivated when they are determined to exist. If possible and at our discretion, K-BID reserves the right to delete any bid we believe has been placed by a suspect bidder. Any registration that shows up on our fraud detection system may be placed on hold and bids removed until the user is verified. K-BID Online, Inc reserves the right to disallow anybody from bidding on its website. Cases of obvious bidding with no intent to redeem will be referred to appropriate legal authorities.
Affiliates may lower a lot reserve at any time before or after an auction closes.
