This official Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency registration document belonged to Johnny Cash and renews ownership of his 1997 Chaparral Open vessel. Registered to his Hendersonville, Tennessee home, this 23-foot boat was marked for “pleasure” use with inboard/outboard gas propulsion. The registration card remains attached to its original mailer, just as it was when received in the mail in 2003.
It’s a wonderfully humanizing piece — a reminder that, off stage, Johnny enjoyed simple outdoor pleasures and time on the water. These authentic, everyday moments offer a compelling look into the private life of a man whose legacy has touched generations.

The last meal I ever ate with my dad was him myself and my husband, Eddie Panetta, who passed away in 2009.
Right after dad said the prayer he looked at my husband and said, "I want to thank you for letting me have your new bride to live with me for the past three months (which were the final three months of his life) and to thank you I would like to give you my chaparral boat."

All items described as platinum, gold (10k–18k, yellow or white), Platlite, or sterling silver are guaranteed to be solid metal — never filled or plated.
Any item described as a diamond is guaranteed to be a genuine, natural diamond unless otherwise stated. If a lab-grown diamond is present, it will be clearly noted in the description.
Gemstones — including rubies, sapphires, emeralds, alexandrite, tanzanite, amethyst, citrine, topaz, morganite, and others — may be natural, lab-created, color-enhanced, glass-filled, crystallized, or laser-treated. Natural stones will be labeled as such. Carat weights are approximate and typically fall within a 10% range of stated size due to mounting constraints.
Any appraisal, auction estimate, or stated retail value reflects the opinion of the evaluator based on comparable new jewelry in the current market. In the event that bidding rights are terminated due to no-show invoices, bidders MAY be reinstated at the discretion of K-BID only after a penalty fee of 20% of the unpaid invoice(s) and a reinstatement fee of $25.00 has been paid to K-BID and a scanned copy of your driver's license emailed to us. INVOICED ITEMS WILL NOT BE AWARDED. The payment is punitive and meant to deter no-shows. Duplicate bidder accounts will be deactivated when they are determined to exist. If possible and at our discretion, K-BID reserves the right to delete any bid we believe has been placed by a suspect bidder. Any registration that shows up on our fraud detection system may be placed on hold and bids removed until the user is verified. K-BID Online, Inc reserves the right to disallow anybody from bidding on its website. Cases of obvious bidding with no intent to redeem will be referred to appropriate legal authorities.
Affiliates may lower a lot reserve at any time before or after an auction closes. If the reserve is lowered while the auction is in progress, the applicable reserve message will appear below the Next Required Bid information (Reserve Not Met or Reserve Has Been Met); the asset will sell to the high bidder if the lowered reserve amount is met. If the reserve is lowered after the auction closes, the highest bidder at auction close will receive a winning bidder invoice.
Once an auction begins its closing process, outbid notifications will not be sent.
