Appointments: Appointments are required for removal. Appointments must be made prior to the day that you are coming to get your items. A $25 fee will apply to same day appointments. At the conclusion of the auction, bidders can make an appointment on the invoice section of their K-BID dashboard. We have limited parking space and rely on appointments to keep traffic moving, a $50 fee will apply to those who show up without an appointment. Call 1-515-835-7444 with questions or to make a phone appointment.
Removal Requirements: We provide removal day(s) and bidders are expected to retrieve their items during these dates. A $25 daily fee will apply for removals outside of the specified removal dates. If not retrieved within 7 days, the items will be considered abandoned and no refunds will be given.
Removal Equipment/Loading: The correct equipment/trailer is required for pickup. We provide forklift loading, but will not load on unsafe equipment or trailers. We do not provide physical loading help. Call 1-515-835-7444 with questions on equipment and trailer requirements.
Picking up for Someone: If the person picking up is an employee, family member or anyone other than the person listed on the invoice, please call 1-515-835-7444 to provide a release of inventory.
Payment Timing:
Payment Types: We accept payments online via the K-BID dashboard (all credit cards) up to an invoice total of $5,000. We accept CC payments by phone up to $1500. We do NOT accept personal or business checks. We will accept wire transfers, cashiers checks and cash (please have exact change) for all invoices and these payment types are required for invoices over a $5,000 total. All payments made to Red Tag Industries (no business or personal checks). Call 1-515-835-7444 with any questions on payment options.

PAYMENTS ARE DUE WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION. Winning bidders who have not paid their invoices by this time will be listed as no-shows. If shipping is selected, please wait to pay your invoice until after freight charges have been added. Minimum Shipping charge for pallet sized items is $200.

The preferred method of payment for transactions over $10,000 is wire transfer.

If paying with cash or cashier's check, we need the following information: full name, address, SSN or FEIN, birthdate and driver's license, for both the person bringing the cash/cashier's check and the person on whose behalf the transaction is being conducted.

Please pick up your items in a timely manner. Paid lots left behind for more than 7 days are considered abandoned and will become the property of IA Auction Company. No notice or reminders will be made.
Any refunds issued for unclaimed purchases are subject to a restocking fee not to exceed 25%. The decision whether to issue any refund is at the discretion of IA Auction Company' management.
Items have not been tested unless otherwise described in the lot descriptions. IA Auction Company makes no warranty as to the condition of items offered herein. Buyer is responsible for inspecting items prior to purchase. Used items come with used issues, including minor mechanical issues, interior and exterior imperfections. Pick up day is not inspection day.
Refunds for damaged or missing items will be capped at the total of the hammer price, buyer's premium and sales tax, if applicable.
IA Auction Company is not responsible for accidents, injuries or damage to property while visiting the auction site.
Buyers are solely responsible for assuring proper trailering of goods and securely fastening their own loads. IA Auction Company and the seller are not responsible for any accidents which may occur due to improper loading, stowage or securing of loads. IA Auction Company does reserve the right to refuse to load any vehicle that is deemed unsafe.
Communications policy: By bidding on this auction, you grant IA Auction Company permission to text and/or email you information relevant to this auction, such as removal or payment reminders, shipping information, etc.

Every auction item is sold “as is, where is” with no guarantees or warranties. You are responsible for inspecting items prior to purchase.
Bidders are responsible for knowing and complying with auction terms. Failure to comply with removal terms may result in bidding privileges being disabled. Once a bid is placed it cannot be retracted.
Sellers and their agents are prohibited from bidding on their own assets.
Items with a reserve will not be sold unless the reserve price has been met.
At the close of the auction, active items will remain open until no bids have been received for three minutes.
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.
In the event that bidding rights are terminated due to no-show invoices, bidders MAY be reinstated at the discretion of K-BID only after a penalty fee of 20% of the unpaid invoice(s) and a reinstatement fee of $25.00 has been paid to K-BID and a scanned copy of your driver's license emailed to us. INVOICED ITEMS WILL NOT BE AWARDED. The payment is punitive and meant to deter no-shows. Duplicate bidder accounts will be deactivated when they are determined to exist. If possible and at our discretion, K-BID reserves the right to delete any bid we believe has been placed by a suspect bidder. Any registration that shows up on our fraud detection system may be placed on hold and bids removed until the user is verified. K-BID Online, Inc reserves the right to disallow anybody from bidding on its website. Cases of obvious bidding with no intent to redeem will be referred to appropriate legal authorities.
Affiliates may lower a lot reserve at any time before or after an auction closes. If the reserve is lowered while the auction is in progress, the applicable reserve message will appear below the Next Required Bid information (Reserve Not Met or Reserve Has Been Met); the asset will sell to the high bidder if the lowered reserve amount is met. If the reserve is lowered after the auction closes, the highest bidder at auction close will receive a winning bidder invoice.
Once an auction begins its closing process, outbid notifications will not be sent.
Once a bid is placed it cannot be retracted.
Shipping is at the expense and coordination of the buyer. Please contact Iowa Auction Company, if you are coordinating with a 3rd party shipper.
