Members of K-BID staff earn industry’s top designation, joins exclusive NAA CAI group of approximately 860 worldwide.

K-BID staff, Rebecca Farniok and Chris Schwartz, recently completed training at the prestigious Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI). CAI is the industry’s premier training program developed by the National Auctioneers Association (NAA) for auction professionals.

Farniok, K-BID’s Executive Vice President and Schwartz, Marketing Director, join an exclusive group as there were approximately 860 current CAI designation holders in the world as of February 2018.

The three-year CAI designation program provides auction professionals the opportunity to earn the industry’s most respected professional designation. CAI is an intensive, executive development program offering professional auctioneers with instruction and coursework in business management, ethics, finance, communication, strategic planning and marketing.

The NAA conducts CAI every March at Indiana University in Bloomington.

“The ability to learn from some of the brightest minds in the auction industry for three years was an amazing experience. We were fortunate to have instructors that specialize in real estate, bankruptcies, benefit auctions and many other facets of the industry, some of which we were not very familiar with” said Schwartz.

Farniok noted, “We are excited to use the relationships created and knowledge gained to make our customer experience at K-BID.com even stronger. There are some fascinating advancements and ideas that will be changing the auction industry and we are excited to be on the forefront.”

K-BID.com remains committed to providing an exceptional online auction experience for our buyers and sellers. Continued staff education is one way we can ensure that we are always improving our service.
