Pay online under $2K, or we accept credit cards over $2K and/or cash at pickup location during the scheduled removal window.

Removal

Schedule & Pick up your items during the scheduled removal window only.
Alternative pickup times require prior approval - if you cannot pick up your items during the the scheduled removal window, please don't bid and win the items unless prior arrangements are made.
Items left after the scheduled removal window without prior approval shall not be saved, stored or shipped and your bidder number will be considered a "no-show."

“As‑Is, Where‑Is” Disclosure

All lots sell as is, where is with no warranties or guarantees. Descriptions and photos are provided to help you preview condition, but verification is the bidder’s responsibility.

Refunds / Returns

No refunds on winning bids. Please be sure to inspect the items you are interested in.... before you bid.
Hairy Mosquito is not liable for missing or damaged items after they are removed.
Abandoned lots are forfeited after the scheduled removal window

Release of Liability

By bidding, you waive and release Hairy Mosquito from any liability for property damage or personal injury occurring on the auction premises.

Auction Terms Addendum

This auction is contracted and managed by an independent affiliate. By placing a bid, you agree to both the auction-specific terms listed on this page and the K-BID User Terms and Agreements.

Platform Role
K-BID Online, Inc. (“K-BID”) operates and maintains K-BID.com as a venue for independent auction companies (“Affiliates”) to conduct online auctions.
Affiliates are independent entities and are not employees, agents, or representatives of K-BID. K-BID’s knowledge of individual auctions is limited to the information provided on the website.

Bidder Responsibilities
By placing a bid, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with all applicable terms.

Bidders are responsible for all activity under their account.
Account information and passwords must not be shared.
All bids are binding and may not be retracted.

Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.

Item Condition
All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.

Buyer’s Premium
If applicable, Buyer’s Premium caps are applied per item, not per invoice.

Auction Process

Items with a reserve will not sell unless the reserve price is met.
Affiliates may lower reserves at any time:
- During the auction: updated reserve status will be displayed.
- After closing: the highest bidder may be awarded the item if the reserve is lowered.
At closing, items with active bidding will remain open until no bids are received for three (3) minutes.
Outbid notifications are not sent once an item enters the closing process.

Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.

If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:

Reinstatement is at K-BID’s discretion
Requires payment of:
- 20% penalty on unpaid invoice(s)
- $25 reinstatement fee
A valid government-issued ID must be provided
Unpaid items will not be awarded

Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.

Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.

Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.

We only ship to the address on your K-bid account - no exceptions.

If your winning bid invoice total is more than $1,000 - Additional insurance charges will be reflected on your shipping invoice.

Pay the K-Bid invoice immediately.
You must pay your K-Bid invoice PRIOR to the end of the Removal Period
- Friday 8:30am - 6pm
Pay your shipping invoice as quickly as possible. Your order may ship Same-Day (Friday) when paid immediately!
All other packages will be sent within 2-4 business days of invoice payment.
You shall receive an email confirmation and tracking number automatically when your label is printed. PLEASE CHECK your SPAM folders.

On‑site or online:
Best to pay for your auction invoice immediately online up to $1K.
We accept credit cards over $1K or cash at pickup at our location or through a Square Invoice sent to your email address if you request shipping.

Pick up your items during the scheduled removal window.
Alternative pickup times require prior approval - the only way to do that is send an email to hairymosquito@hotmail.com with your name and bidder number. Once an alternative pickup time is arranged, we will confirm with an email message, otherwise, we expect you to pay for and pick up your items before the end of the removal period. People who show up early for pickup times must make coffee and shovel the sidewalk.
