While the interior is a little tired and there are some cosmetic shortcomings, generally it presents well given its age, with a still glossy gelcoat. Mechanically and electrically, everything works as it should, and has been well maintained and/or upgraded during ownership. As far as cheap boats go, this one is fairly turn-key, and needs nothing to get you on the water.
The Good:
-Starts and runs reliably! No leaks, all fresh fluids (engine oil and outdrive gear lube changed yearly before winterization, power steering and trim fluid in 2021).
-Engine runs strong, Glastron claimed 42 mph top speed when new, GPS verified it still hits that mark. Feels plenty fast for a 17 foot boat.
-New fuel filter and carb screen. New fuel sender. New gas struts.
-New battery as of May 2025.
-Oversized color matched bimini top usable with support straps and/or semi-permanent support poles.
-Stereo plate needs repair otherwise works great! (though it skips over rough water). JVC head unit, Kenwood amp, and Nakamichi speakers. Also comes with a Bluetooth FM transmitter for streaming.
-Replaced the OEM swim ladder w/ hefty extruded aluminum unit.
-Replaced lower unit gear lube supply hose last year. Visual inspection of the belows at that time revealed no water intrusion and good grease on the outdrive splines.
-Comes w/ docking ropes, anchor, life vests, mooring bumpers, fire extinguishers, a set of skis and ski ropes, and a large two person inner tube.
-Generic boat cover has a few tears and is sun bleached, but otherwise watertight.
The Bad:
-Engine hours are unknown. It is estimated several hundred hours, if that.
-Significant staining and is starting to tear in some spots. The fabric on the underside of the engine compartment has significant oil stains. The driver & passenger seat cushion bottoms have vinyl upholstery tape.
-The flooring is beginning to disintegrate around the perimeter of the ski well. It supports the plastic cover fine.
-There is an aftermarket fish finder, but its cables/emitter were gone when the boat was purchased from original owners.
-The front center cushion is missing.
-Various stains on the molded plastic floor up front. Various insect marks and bake-on bird droppings.

Removal Expectations:

-Each buyer is soley responsible to bring any and all necessary tools and/or persons they may need to assist them in the removal process. This includes bringing sufficient equipment and/or vehicles to transport their item(s) away from the removal site.
-It is the sole responsibility of all buyers to pick up their item(s) ON THE SCHEDULED REMOVAL DAY and within the advertised time that has been specified for each individual auction. If the buyer is unable to pick up their items for any reason on removal day, it is the buyer's responsibility to have arrangement made to send someone in their abscence.
-Liberation Estate Services cannot guarantee the availability of any items that are not picked up by the end of the scheduled removal day.
-All items must be picked up on the specified removal day for each individual auction. Liberation Estate Services is unable to accommodate alternate dates and times outside of the scheduled removal - please do not ask. If Liberation Estate Services chooses to make arrangements with a winning bidder for an alternate removal date, the winning bidder will be charged a holding and rescheduling fee of $10 per day that the items are waiting to be picked up. The items will be considered abandonded if the items are not picked up within 24 hours of the new removal date and time agreed upon by the winning bidder.
-Buyers are responsible for the removal for all items won on the scheduled removal day. If you won it, you take it! If buyer shows up to the auction removal and willingingly abandons certain items they won but take the rest, there will be a $25 reshelving fee per item.
-Ownership of the asset(s)/item(s) along with the risk of loss, is immediately passed to the buyer at the time of winning and after the invoice has been paid in full.
-Invoices that were paid in full, yet the buyer does not show up for the auction removal and has not taken possession of by the designated end time on the scheduled removal date will be considered abandoned. In turn, the ownership with risk of loss, will defer back to Liberation Estate Services. This means refunds for abandoned items will not be given.
-Items that are not paid for by the end of the scheduled removal date/time will be considered a "no-show" and abandoned.
-By leaving the auction site, the buyer is agreeing that all lots were as described and acceptably loaded therefore releasing Liberation Estate Services from any claims of incomplete, incorrect or missing items.
-As the buyer, if for any reason you feel an item was not listed properly, the issue must be brought to the attention of our staff on removal day prior to the item(s) being removed from the auction site.
-Managing auctioneer, Liberation Estate Services, and/or removal location owner are not liable for any damages accrued to asset(s) during the removal process.
