According to a letter from a previous owner, this Henry J has unique roots tied to the Kaiser-Frazer dealership era of the late 1940s and 1950s. The seller’s father was a Kaiser-Frazer dealer, and when Henry J production concluded, he retained one of the final cars from his inventory and gifted it to his mother, who drove it for many years. Following her passing, the vehicle remained within the family’s care. After the father’s death roughly a decade ago, the car was stored until the owner commissioned a professional transformation into a performance street car approximately three years prior to its sale. The build retained the original body and frame while upgrading the drivetrain with a Corvette-based crate engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning, and modern drivability features designed to make the car comfortable and easy for anyone to enjoy. Car will need a new battery and fresh gas as it sat for about a year.
