About Us:

Here at Knowledge Computers and Global E-waste we are Minnesota’s largest center of used electronics. We specialize in electronic recycling with a focus on data security and sanitation. We are also E-steward, AAA NAID, ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001 Certified so that means that all of our material is recycled to the highest standard where nothing will go to incineration or a landfill. Join us in our journey to reduce e-waste and give these used products another life before buying new.

About our Products:

All our devices are removed from functional operating offices and warehouses to be recycled or have data erasure performed. Once they are removed, they are transported to our facility where each asset is data wiped and tested to determine if it is suitable for re-sale. Due to this wipe and test process all products are sold in factory reset condition and are ready for a new home. You may need to add software or go through some initial set up as a result of the reset. This allows you to choose the settings and input the user data you deem appropriate for you.

Warranty:

All Items INCLUDE A 30 DAY WARRANTY

This warranty goes into effect the day of the auction closing.

This warranty covers the functionality of your asset, buyers are responsible for damage inflicted to the item after removal.

If the your item/s have stopped functioning you can claim your warranty within 30 days by emailing kbid@knowledgecomputers.net your bidder #, the auction #, and the items you wish to return and a representative will assist your from there. Item must be returned by 30 days, do not reach out on day 30 expecting an extension.

All items are used, unless otherwise stated. Used items can be expected to show signs of wear, including light scratches, dents and scrapes. We do our best to note and photo unusual wear or damage.

All items are available for inspection by appointment before auction close. Email kbid@knowledgecomputers.net to arrange an inspection.

Items MAY NOT include cables, adapters, or other accessories unless shown in the photos or stated in the description.

All PC's will have Windows products uninstalled unless otherwise stated. (Operating systems are included with Apple products if they have a HD)

Do not place bids on items you do not wish to purchase.

Sale items are sold “as is, where is”. Knowledge Computers is not responsible for any omissions or errors in the description of items being offered for sale. Photos are merely representative of the items and may not be relied upon for disclosure of all defects. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Knowledge Computers K-BID reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to reject any and/or all bids considered as not in its best interest.

Winning bidders assume responsibility for all applicable taxes and fees. Buyers exempt from paying tax must present a copy of their Tax Exemption Certificate.

Pick Up Instructions:

Once an auction closes there are two ways to retrieve your items. The first is to show up in person on the removal date. If you choose this option, your items can be paid for in either cash or credit. See auction for removal times. The second way is to request shipping for your item. If you choose the shipping option, follow the steps below.

                1. email kbid@knowledgecomputers.net the following information

                                a). Bidder # of your account

                                b). The desired shipping address and any special instructions

2. Once we receive your email, you will be emailed an updated invoice that has your item and shipping cost combined. If you have already paid your invoice online you will just receive an invoice for the shipping cost alone.

3. Pay the invoice in your email inbox and that will notify our shipping team to get it packed up and sent out!

Removal MUST happen on the dates and times indicated unless other arrangements have been made. All no shows will be reported unless you communicate with us prior to the removal date. A $5 storage fee will be added for each day an item is left here past the removal date unless prior arrangements have been made. 

Items must be claimed and paid for on the designated removal date. If not paid AND claimed, Knowledge Computers K-BID reserves the right to auction, in its sole discretion, any such items after the removal period has passed. Payments can be made online through square via the K-BID website or by cash/credit in person.

Please bring an appropriate size vehicle and help to load large items. A LARGE TV or DATA rack will NOT fit in your Prius, so please read the size and dimension we post for items so you are not surprised when you get here. Removal is very easy at our site as you can park very close to where the products are located, no stairs or steps.

**Out of State or Buyers requesting shipping please read all conditions.  Knowledge Computers reserves the right to limit the value of orders that qualify for shipping. New bidders are limited to order values of less than $400. All buyers should be prepared to show state or federal issued identification to pick up or claim items
