Bid on this classic, vintage houseboat, affectionately called Edie Marie! You will have 3 nights during fishing opener weekend (opener starts May 9th) to cast your lines and catch a big one in the beautiful Voyageurs National Park. Either bring your own fishing boat or rent one from us.

New To Houseboating? No Problem. No Prior Boating Experience Needed.
If you have a lot of boating experience or none at all, anyone can operate our houseboats. Think of them as a big pontoon going 8mph. You'll also be given an in-depth lesson on the houseboat, boating, and Voyageurs National Park before you take off. And don't worry--GPS and a radio is on all of the houseboats, so you will always know where you are, and so will we should you need assistance. If you need anything, our hospitality boat can bring you more ice, firewood, food, etc. You will be well taken care of during your stay.
The Houseboat: Northstar 420
The Northstar 420 is our vintage houseboat that is getting a refresh this spring. It is perfect for a small group of friends who want their own beds and is the only houseboat we offer with a full catwalk around the exterior of the boat. This boat comfortably sleeps 4 people and includes:

Two twins, one fixed double bunk bed, one sleeper sofa.

Fishing in Voyageurs National Park
Voyageurs National Park is one of the most water based national parks in the U.S. It covers about 218,000 acres (roughly 342 square miles) in northern Minnesota, along the Canadian border. Around 40% of the park is water, made up of interconnected lakes like Kabetogama, Namakan, and Sand Point. The rest is a mix of forests, rocky ridges, and small islands.
As Minnesota's only national park, Voyageurs National Park is a quiet, vast, and beautiful place with great fishing and plenty of room to explore. The mix of lakes, islands, and rocky shorelines makes it easy to find a good spot away from the crowds. Early in the season, fish are usually shallow and active, especially around points and bays. It’s a laid back place where you can relax, enjoy the scenery, and catch some solid fish without noise or pressure. "Item Removal" (Trips): Trips occur at Voyagaire Lodge & Houseboats - Crane Lake, MN. You are responsible for getting to the resort on your designated "pick-up day" trip date.
No Shows: After the removal window closes, unpaid invoices will be marked as ‘No Shows.’ Bell Resorts Inc. reserves the right to determine whether, how, and to whom unsold auction items will be resold. If the winning bid is deemed invalid, the item will not automatically be offered to the next highest bidder.
Removal Assistance: Bell Resorts Inc. staff will not assist with item removal. Please bring adequate help, packaging materials, and appropriate transport for your auction items.
Refunds and Returns: Once trip occurs at the "auction site" Voyagaire Lodge & Houseboats, refunds or returns are not accepted. Bell Resorts Inc. Inspect your items on-site and address any concerns with the auction manager or General Manager Scott Lennander before leaving.
Release of Liability: By participating in this auction, you release Bell Resorts Inc. from any liability for damage or injury that may occur on the auction premises.

This auction is contracted and managed by an independent affiliate. By placing a bid, you agree to both the auction-specific terms listed on this page and the K-BID User Terms and Agreements.
