Equipment & Dimensions

  • Camera (unmounted): 14" W × 13" D × 8" H, 29 lbs

  • Camera (mounted): 16.5" D × 16" H × 14" W

  • Computer: HP Z1 G6 (14.6" D × 6.1" W × 14.4" H, 20 lbs) or HP Z240 (6.7" W × 15.7" H × 17.4" D)

  • Cabinet: NavePoint 6U 450mm depth (17.72" D × 23.63" W × 17.75" H, 32 lbs)

  • Cabinet shelf/fan: 4 lbs / 7 lbs

  • Weatherproof cabinet: Recommended if mounting outdoors support.nfhsnetwork.com.

Pre‑Installation

  1. Junction box prep: Turn the four corner bolts to open the junction box.

  2. Split‑gland disassembly: Use a screwdriver to lift the teeth and remove grommets.

  3. Seal & connect: Tighten the gland with the white nut, ensure the sealing ring is in place, then connect the Cat6 Ethernet cable to the camera’s black input connector.

  4. Test: Close the box and verify the system works before mounting nfhsnetwork.my.site.com.

Mounting

  • Wall mount: Use the four corner holes on the base plate.

  • Pole mount: Use steel bands; open, insert into mounting holes, and tighten until stable nfhsnetwork.my.site.com+1.

Camera Mode & Tilt

  • Mode: 1–6 scale; 1 = closest to field, 6 = furthest. Must match on both top and bottom camera housings.

  • Tilt: Adjusts horizontal orientation so the entire field fits in view.

  • Calculation: Use the Pixellot Connect app (iOS/Android) to input standoff distance and camera height to get recommended mode/tilt. Confirm with NFHS Network Support for optimal view support.nfhsnetwork.com.

VPU Placement

  • Mount within 200 ft of the camera in a secure, weatherproof location with power and hardline internet.

  • If no weatherproof location, request a weatherproof cabinet ManualsLib.

Double Play (S2S) Setup

For baseball/softball:

  • Mount S2S camera behind home plate, ideally in front of the backstop, with a 1:1 standoff-to-height ratio (min. 10 ft standoff) ManualsLib.

  • Pair outfield camera via VPU Manager → Additional Pairing → Direct Connection or LAN Connection with OCR camera IP.

  • In device search, select Additional Angle to configure as Double Play camera, then save and pair nfhsnetwork.my.site.com.

Networking

  • Use Cat6 Ethernet for camera and VPU connections.

  • Ensure stable, high‑bandwidth internet for live streaming and automated production VidOvation Corporation.

Tip: Always test the system before final mounting, and use the Connect app for precise camera positioning to avoid blind spots.
