Psoriasis is characterized by patches of inflamed red skin. Psoriasis develops because the outer layers of skin cells reproduce too fast. Recent studies show that psoriasis may be an immune disorder in which T-cells behave abnormally. Psoriasis causes pain, itching, and limited motion. It also causes stress and impacts quality of daily life.
UV psoriasis light treatment, also known as UV Phototherapy, exposes the T-cells, causing them to die. In this way, the light therapy reduces inflammation, and slows the rate of skin cell production.
During the psoriasis light treatment clearing phase, UV Phototherapy entails exposing affected skin to light of specific wavelength for some seconds. Light treatments are 3 to 5 times a week with increasing exposures. Psoriasis light therapy typically clears skin in 20-25 sessions. Long-term remission occurs for 90% of psoriasis patients. Psoriasis light treatment is generally well-tolerated in both adults and children with psoriasis.
The use of UVB light for psoriasis has been studied for many years.

We understand that in life things happen that make it so you are not able to make the pick up time listed. Please call us before the auction pick up time and we will make arrangements with you for another pick up time. We will ask for credit card information to hold your item until then. If you do not pick it up on the rescheduled date your card will be charged plus a $10.00 late fee will be incurred. It will then be at our discretion to determine how to proceed with your pick up and whether payment will be kept and the item relisted. We reserve the right to charge a per day storage fee of no less than $10.00 per item when an item(s) is not picked up on the agreed upon day.
If you purchase an item that needs batteries or electricity to operate please be sure to test it right away either at our location or at home to confirm that it does work. We do not warranty any of our items but if within 24 hours of pickup you contact us, we will do our best to find out why it does not work as prior owner has stated and will try to resolve the issue.
