Purchased new in 1985. One owner and extremely well maintained! There is probably not a cleaner one in the world. In his own words:
-This camper has been stored indoors for its whole life. So the top is in extraordinarily good condition (the corners are like new). The rest of the camper's body is also well-preserved. It has been washed and waxed routinely. And the frame has been freshly painted.
-A camper dealer (Pleasure Land) has gone over the camper and performed around $300 of maintenance. The drain on the outside was replaced. The furnace was checked and cleaned. They blew out the chamber and lit the furnace and it works well. They checked the lights inside and out, reset the breaker on the converter, checked the fuse, checked for power at rf lift arm connector, replaced the proch bulb and cleaned the interior light bulb. The water system was checked. The entry door was check for correct operation, the fridge hose was replaced. They checked for LP leak (none), soaped down fittings with no leaks found, and they lubed all cables.
-It has brand new tires (except for the spare) and the wheel bearings have been newly packed with grease.
-The LP fuel tank has been filled
-It has Suburban 3-burner chrome gas range, foam-backed decorator drapes, easy clean vinyl flooring, butcher block counter tops, real wood cabinetry and an ice box.
-Outside, the Starlite 17 has galvanized steel wheel wells, a solid integral rear bumper, stabilizer jacks, and a complete one piece metal under floor.
-It needs new license tabs and perhaps a new light bulb in one turn signal.
-It uses a 2" ball and has regular flat-four electrical wiring for towing.
-The owner's manual is with it along with the sales brochure.
-The camper cost $3100 new in 1985 ($7107 in today's money).
-One of the double mattresses is missing, but a new one could be purchased if needed. With all mattresses in place, the camper sleeps six, otherwise it sleeps four. The table converts into a bed. The seat cushions are above two storage compartments.
-There is a soft spot on the floor just inside the door, probably because that is an area of higher than average traffic.
-The exterior canvas looks good
-The axle weight is 894 pounds. The hitch weight dry is 86 pounds. The total dry weight is 980 pounds. Cargo load capacity is 450 pounds.
-Exterior length closed is 12', width closed 6' 5", height closed 3' 7". Interior height open is 6' 4", interior length open is 17' 6", width open is 6" 1", Bunk size is 47" x 71", 50" x 73".

Bidder Responsibilities

Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.

Auction Process
Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.
Auction House can ship any item(s) that will fit into a 12" x 12" x 8" (or smaller) box and weighs under 50 pounds. A $8 packing materials & handling/hauling fee is added to the actual shipping cost (check www.usps.com under "Calculate a Price").
Auction House can ship either Spee-Dee or USPS (we cannot ship Fed-Ex or UPS). Larger items (such as furniture) can be shipped via a third party company. Call for details before bidding if you are considering having a large item shipped as the cost can be quite substantial.
If you purchase a number of items then multiple 12" x 12" x 8" boxes (or smaller) can be used. There is a $8 per box fee + actual shipping costs per box.
Priority Mail comes with tracking & $50 insurance. If more insurance is needed then the buyer must pay for the auction cost of the additional insurance. Auction House is not liable for lost/damaged items once the item has been dropped off at USPS & given a tracking number beyond the scope of what USPS insurance policy and what the USPS will cover.
Packing the boxes for item safety is per the discretion of the Auction House.
