This is a Firestone Ride-Rite Helper Springs Air Bag Kit for towing. This is parts department overstock. I opened the boxes and checked components and everything looks to be there. Both airbags, brackets, hoses, etc. I did not inventory all the fasteners, though - just checked that the bag of hardware was present.
NOTE: This kit fits the 2013 Ram 3/4 Ton 2500 2wd 4wd but NOT the 2013 3500.
Ride-Rite air helper springs are the workhorse of Firestone's air helper spring line. The Firestone 2299 kit is one of the most popular kits in the Ride Rite lineup. The double convoluted air springs offer maximum load capacity as well as years of worry-free service and support.
This kit WILL WORK with dually models as well as any 3/4 or 1 Ton ram with an in bed hitch.
Ride-Rite air helper springs are installed between the frame of your vehicle and the suspension, providing load support by using air pressure.
Many of our Dodge customers will use the air springs to support loads from horse trailers, toy haulers, campers, and/or heavy hauling.
Firestones air springs have become synonymous with quality, durability, and customer support that is second to none. Ride-Rite air bag kits utilize a pair of convoluted air springs which can be adjusted to accommodate your load capacity. The Ride-Rite series is capable of 3,200 - 5,000 lbs. of load level capacity. After installed, your ride will be enhanced by reducing inter-leaf friction which will keep your truck level, reduce suspension fatigue, and increase the stability of your Dodge vehicle.
