1966 Sunbeam Alpine 2Dr -Restored 1966 Sunbeam Alpine Series V car. This Alpine has a 1725 four cylinder engine, with dual Stromberg single barrel carburetors, manual transmission and was painted with Dupont Imron paint. The restoration was completed by the owner sourcing parts from Sunbeam Spares Lenexa,Kansas part supplier and some work contracted out to professionals (ie paint, upholstery etc.) and this vehicle was always parked indoors when not driven.The condition of this Alpine might be considered to fall somewhere between "Good" and "Excellent" using Haggerty valuation criteria based upon auctioneer"s opinion. This body type and year of car was used in the 2008 movie "Get Smart" starring Steve Carrell. The 1966 Sunbeam Alpine is identical to the Sunbeam Tiger (less the V-8 EngineJ) and that is why they used the Alpine with different badges in the movie. A great car for a hobbyist or collector. We did not start or drive this vehicle and winning bidder should be prepared to trailer this vehicle home. According to consigner gas was treated for storage and this vehicle is stored presently in an dry airplane hangar. This item like all assets on our auctions is sold "as is where is".
