Our auctions have a scheduled one-day removal; unless otherwise pre-approved by Johnston Trading Co. at least one day in advance of the scheduled removal.
If a successful bidder makes payment on an item, but does not pick it up or make arrangements for shipping by the end of the removal period, the item / purchase will be held for 14 consecutive days (including Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays).
If the buyer does not pick-up lot items or make arrangements for shipping during the 14-day period, the item/purchase will be considered abandoned and forfeited.
If a successful bidder makes no payment on an item, and makes no arrangements or contact with Johnston Trading Co. by the end of the scheduled removal period, the item will be considered abandoned and forfeited (and will not be held for 14 days).
Johnston Trading Co. reserves the right to dispose of forfeited item as desired. No credits / refunds / reimbursements will be be given for items deemed abandoned / forfeited.

Auction Terms Addendum
This auction is contracted and managed by an independent affiliate. By placing a bid, you agree to both the auction-specific terms listed on this page and the K-BID User Terms and Agreements.
Platform Role
K-BID Online, Inc. (“K-BID”) operates and maintains K-BID.com as a venue for independent auction companies (“Affiliates”) to conduct online auctions.
Affiliates are independent entities and are not employees, agents, or representatives of K-BID. K-BID’s knowledge of individual auctions is limited to the information provided on the website.
Bidder Responsibilities
By placing a bid, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with all applicable terms.
Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.
Item Condition
All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.
Buyer’s Premium
If applicable, Buyer’s Premium caps are applied per item, not per invoice.
Auction Process
Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.
Johnston Trading Co. is happy to deliver small to medium items to local shipping companies for a $5 Handling Fee.
- Small to medium: one person can reasonably & safely carry/load item(s) with no special equipment beyond a hand truck/dolly.
We are also happy to deliver large, bulky, or more complicated items to local shipping companies for a minimum $25 Handling Fee:
- Large items: require one or more of the following: a second set of hands, use of our larger truck with a Tommy Gate, use of a trailer, loading with a forklift, etc.
- The more needed to handle, the higher the Handling Fee.
Once our Handling Fee is quoted, invoiced to buyer through Square, and pre-paid to Johnston Trading Co.:
- We will deliver your item to UPS or Lakes Shipping in Detroit Lakes, MN
- Buyer will make arrangements and pay for shipping directly with the Shipping Company
