Lot Description:

This One of a kind 1910's  era Square Grand Piano Serial # 5986 is suspected to be restored by American Piano Company in the early 1900's. It Comes with beautiful Antique stool.  and is an amazing Conversation piece to have in your home.

The American Piano Company was an American piano manufacturer located in East Rochester, New York, which was known from the beginning for the production of high quality player pianos. The company was established in 1908 under the aegis of Wm. Knabe & Co. of Baltimore as a merger between Chickering & Sons of Boston, Haines Brothers, Marshall & Wendell, and Foster, Armstrong & Company, all of Rochester New York

This piece was made before 1913 when American Piano company became more widely known as "Ampico"

**The Bracket for music sheet holder is broken. Can be easily repaired  The Piano is in Semi working condition. Will need some maintenance to be in 100% working order. Not all keys sounding as they should!

We accept Cash, All Major Credit Cards either in person or by phone, PayPal, Cashier's Checks, Money Orders, Personal Checks under $100.00 with ID.    

Any removal out of our SCHEDULED REMOVAL TIMES will be subject to a MINIMUM $20.00 transfer charge.

If you feel a item was not listed properly, you have one week to make your case. If we feel a refund is in order, item will need to be returned to us within one week of removal.  Once we pay our sellers we cannot make adjustments. Remember this is an auction. This is not a retail store.

Bidder Responsibilities

Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.

Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.

Item Condition
All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.

Buyer’s Premium
If applicable, Buyer’s Premium caps are applied per item, not per invoice.

Auction Process

  • Items with a reserve will not sell unless the reserve price is met.
  • Affiliates may lower reserves at any time:
    • During the auction: updated reserve status will be displayed.
    • After closing: the highest bidder may be awarded the item if the reserve is lowered.
  • At closing, items with active bidding will remain open until no bids are received for three (3) minutes.
  • Outbid notifications are not sent once an item enters the closing process.

Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.

If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:

  • Reinstatement is at K-BID’s discretion
  • Requires payment of:
    • 20% penalty on unpaid invoice(s)
    • $25 reinstatement fee
  • A valid government-issued ID must be provided
  • Unpaid items will not be awarded

Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.

Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.

Sales Tax

 Everything shipped Priority Mail  USPS or SPEEDEE Deliver within 3 days of Removal Date. Shipping and handling typically  $10 - $25  for anywhere in the midwest. Call us the day of removal so we can set your Lot numbers aside for shipping.  We will ask for your bidder number and CC # and will send you an email with the receipt and tracking number once it has shipped.  Shippable items are those that will fit in a box one person can carry!

When paying online please let the cashier know that you have paid online at the removal or call 612-443-1499 for shipping arrangements.
