8.) Handguns: A permit to purchase or a permit to carry is required for any handgun sale.
Note to Federal Firearms Licensees and Permit Holders: The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) on October 19, 2018, issued a letter to the BCA stating, "All Minnesota Federal Firearms Licensees are required to conduct a NICS background check prior to the transfer of a firearm to a non-licensee even if that person presents a valid Permit to Carry." Black Powder and Antique Guns as Firearms By federal law black powder rifles, pistols, and shotguns are not firearms. However, at the state level Minnesota has included muzzle loaders and black powder rifles in their definition of firearms. The Minnesota statute goes on to say: “Firearm” means a gun that discharges shot or a projectile by means of an explosive, a gas, or compressed air.” (Minn. Stat. § 97A.015, subd. 19) Judges in Minnesota have also ruled that, under this definition, rifles, shotguns, handguns (both pistols and revolvers), and muzzle loaders are firearms. Paintballs are not included in this definition.
Shipping of Firearms K-BID will only ship long guns (rifles and shot guns) via USPS. We WILL NOT ship handguns under any circumstance-this includes black powder handguns. USPS does not allow it, UPS and Speedy will only accept guns at their service centers. The restrictions make it cost prohibitive for the buyer.

Auction Terms Addendum
This auction is contracted and managed by an independent affiliate. By placing a bid, you agree to both the auction-specific terms listed on this page and the K-BID User Terms and Agreements.
Platform Role
K-BID Online, Inc. (“K-BID”) operates and maintains K-BID.com as a venue for independent auction companies (“Affiliates”) to conduct online auctions.
Affiliates are independent entities and are not employees, agents, or representatives of K-BID. K-BID’s knowledge of individual auctions is limited to the information provided on the website.
Bidder Responsibilities
By placing a bid, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with all applicable terms.
Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.
Item Condition
All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.
Buyer’s Premium
If applicable, Buyer’s Premium caps are applied per item, not per invoice.
Auction Process
Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.
We can ship long guns via USPS. Minimum shipping charge is $40.00
We do not ship hand guns.
Online payment is accepted.
