BSN Medical Hypafix Dressing Retention Sheet, formerly known as Smith & Nephew Hypafix Dressing Retention Tape, offers greater stretch and conform-ability with a non-irritating self-adhesive. It protects as a secondary dressing and so much more. Hypafix Dressing Retention Sheets come in a variety of widths to be cut to the length needed. Hypafix provides freedom of movement allowing for comfort and versatility of use with a wound dressing. The sheet is wider widths accommodate larger wound sizes from burns, dermabrasion treatment areas, covering sacral pressure sores and retaining post-operative wound dressings, gauze, and absorbent pads. The Hypafix tape is also commonly used to secure post-operative catheters, tubes and drainage lines. Hypafix flexible construction is very helpful in protecting insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring systems for individuals with diabetes. The retention dressing is ideal for covering hard-to-reach areas. This retention tape provides complete coverage and allows joints to be dressed without constraining movement. These traits make Hypafix Sheets valuable to athletes nursing a wound or covering up blisters.
The Hypafix Dressing Retention Tape is water resistant with a hypoallergenic adhesive that acts as an excellent secondary retention of gauze, foam, and gel, doubling the amount of protection to the wound. This keeps out bacteria and other harmful microbes. The materials are permeable and therefore offer a moist wound environment that's ideal for quicker wound healing. The retention dressing permeability allows athletes to comfortably wear Hypafix Tape and ensures that perspiration won't cause irritation and compromise the adhesive. Hypafix Dressing Retention Tape is water resistant and holds well in the shower.
Hypafix is radio-transparent and therefore the retention dressing can remain on skin surface for x-rays or radiotherapy and have no disruption to the healing of the wound.

Taping Instructions
Affixing Hypafix Dressing Retention Tape is very easy. First, start with clean and dry skin. Select the amount needed and cut the retention dressing with scissors using the grid-lines guideline on the backside. Hypafix has a release paper section for easier removal of the backing. The retention dressing is reusable and will allow the user to pull the adhesive up and re-affix and therefore less likely to curl when pulled on and off. The adhesive side of the retention dressing sticks securely but can be easily removed without major pain or discomfort.

We understand that in life things happen that make it so you are not able to make the pick up time listed. Please call us before the auction pick up time and we will make arrangements with you for another pick up time, we will ask for a late/postponed pickup fee of at least $50.00 as this will cover our time for having to be there rather than working on something else. We will ask for a credit card payment for your item and late fee. If you do not pick it up on the rescheduled date (no more than 1 week after original auction pick up date) your card will be charged $100.00 late fee. It will then be at our discretion to determine how to proceed with your pick up. We reserve the right to charge a per day storage fee of no less than $25.00 per item when an item(s) is not picked up on the agreed upon day. If buyer does not pick up by agreed upon date then Jireh Trading Company will consider it abandoned and will dispose of it at our own discretion. We do not have room in our building to store things for people more than a week...no exceptions!
If you purchase an item that needs batteries or electricity to operate please be sure to test it right away either at our location or at home to confirm that it does work. We do not warranty any of our items but if within 24 hours of pickup you contact us, we will do our best to find out why it does not work as prior owner has stated and will try to resolve the issue.

Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the independent auction company managing the auction.
Shipping is available on most items. Please check ahead of time to find out shipping, packaging & any other additional fees for a specific item as costs vary depending on item. There will be at least a $20 handling fee charged per lot to cover labor and packing materials.
