Household Essentials StowAway In-Wall Ironing Board is a classic cabinet ironing board with an oak exterior cabinet door that can be stained or painted to match existing cabinetry. The cabinet houses an ironing board that is 11.75 x 41 in. It folds out of the cabinet and swivels 180 degrees for RIGHT and Left-handed use. It has a tapered nose and traditional rounded end for a familiar, comfortably ironing experience. The cabinet also has 2 storage shelves for laundry accessories and has 2 heat-resistant panels to safely store a cooling iron. The cabinet installs directly into the wall and requires framing studs that are 16 in. on center for proper anchoring. The cabinet unit measures 47.75 in. H, 15.75 in. W, and 7.75 in. D, but only protrudes approximately 4 in. from the wall once installed (and with the cabinet door closed). Installed according to manufacturer's instructions, the ironing board will be 36 in. off the floor, with a built-in height adjustment that can raise it 2 more in. (for a 38 in. H ironing board). If a different height is required (or preferred), adjustments must be made to the installation cutout height BEFORE the cabinet is installed.
