This is a LFA Rotary Tablet / Pill Press RTP 9 station model, made in 2018. Originally $17,000 delivered.It is close to the RTP-118 model but I think this is an older version maybe?
This is a compact machine that is great for producing your private label vitamins, supplements, pet meds, farm meds, and more. Max diameter 18 mm, Max pressure 60 kn, max filling depth 15mm, Serial number AIAA18795D
2.2 KW electric motor, adjustable speed. When I crank it all the way up the digital gauge reads 60. This might be rotations per minute but I cannot be positive. I am not exactly sure for this model but similar models produce up to 20,000-30,000 tabs per hour.
This machine has a foreign, 220 volt plug but I am including the 220 volt to 110 volt transformer so it will work fine on a US style standard outlet.
This machine was new in 2018 and was used sparingly. During storage, it has developed a slight oil leak from the gearbox, so it could use a gasket or some silicone. It is small enough to just throw a rag down and leave it alone as well. It leaks right towards the bottom of the machine so it doesn't make a huge mess (you'll see it upon arrival). Machine is in pre-owned used condition which means you might find a loose screw, a scuff, scratch, paint chip, small hardware missing that doesn't affect performance, etc. ---Cart in photos not included in the sale---
The machine runs and operates as far as my knowledge goes. I didn't get into programming it but I can run it, adjust speed all the way to max, shut it down, etc. It does not include any tooling to make specific molds (you will want your own anyways) but I believe it takes the "Euro B" type.
I gave it a general cleaning but the buyer should give it another once over and possible deep cleaning before starting their own production. Buyer acknowledges that a deeper cleaning may be needed to eliminate any possibility of contamination from previous ingredients or powders that are present on machine.
--This unit will be on a pallet for pickup. We can use our forklift to load it on a suitable vehicle at no charge. We will not help manually load this machine. It may look small but it is extremely heavy and probably shouldn't be tipped.--
From Hwy 65 go West on 221st / 74 until stop sign. Go north from stop sign on Cedar Dr / 13. Watch for signs just before T in road. If you are using GPS sometimes it will require Bethel as the city.
Please note: GPS directions are very un reliable to this address! Make sure your GPS does not auto change the street to Cedar Creek Dr! You want just plain Cedar Dr NW! Make sure you understand where you are headed!
