PLEASE NOTE: Although materials are organized in the showroom, they have been labeled and taken out of retail sales since the time pictures were taken. What you see in a specific shelving unit or area is what the winning bidder will take home.
Pictures have been taken in order to display the profile and so that bidders can get a general idea of quantity in a lot. When possible, material was pulled out to give an idea of its condition. Because of tight space, items from separate lots are often visible around the item or in the background, so pay special attention to where shelves begin & end.
Some total measurements are indicated, but keep in mind they are approximate. Most items are labeled in feet, but some shorts and S4S are labeled using inches. As with all lumber or millwork, not every inch will be usable. Willing bidders are expected to take the entire lot at Removal and will not be allowed to pick through material.
Please remember, we do our best to give you an accurate description of each lot, but since we're human we occasionally make mistakes! Whenever in doubt, please give us a call!

This auction is contracted and managed by an independent affiliate. By placing a bid, you agree to both the auction-specific terms listed on this page and the K-BID User Terms and Agreements.
Platform Role

Bidder Responsibilities
By placing a bid, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with all applicable terms.
Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.
Item Condition
All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.
Buyer’s Premium
If applicable, Buyer’s Premium caps are applied per item, not per invoice.
Auction Process
Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.
Johnston Trading Co. is happy to deliver small to medium items to local shipping companies for a $5 Handling Fee.
- Small to medium: one person can reasonably & safely carry/load item(s) with no special equipment beyond a hand truck/dolly.
We are also happy to deliver large, bulky, or more complicated items to local shipping companies for a minimum $25 Handling Fee:
- Large items: require one or more of the following: a second set of hands, use of our larger truck with a Tommy Gate, use of a trailer, loading with a forklift, etc.
- The more needed to handle, the higher the Handling Fee.
Once our Handling Fee is quoted, invoiced to buyer through Square, and pre-paid to Johnston Trading Co.:
- We will transport your item(s) to the shipper (Spee Dee, UPS, FedEx, or USPS in Detroit Lakes, MN)
- We will send you and invoice for cost of shipping and any packing supplies
