Mad Capper Saloon is getting a facelift. This auction has a ton of Stillwater and Minnesota history. Beer signs, lighted signs, Twins, Vikings, Wild, Sports and antiques. Lots of cool stuff. All Items were in good condition unless noted in the description, taken down from their place on the walls of the Mad Capper Bar. Inspection by appointment only. Items can be paid for online on K-bid website and pickup can be made via curbside delivery if desired to reduce contact. All Removal will go out the rear entrance on Sunday. Auction ends Saturday night at 7pm and Removal is Sunday from 11-4.
Note from the new owners: "We are humbled with the opportunity to carry on the legacy of the Mad Capper. The community connections and memories made within the four walls is something we hope to emulate. Many community members have requested items from the walls that they are fond of - so we decided an auction would give everyone and equal opportunity to hold a piece of the history of the Mad Capper. We are happy to be able to share a portion of the proceeds with a local charity to continue the Mad Cappers tradition of giving back and investing in the community."

We do our best to accurately describe auction items. If you feel an item was not listed properly, you have 7 days to contact Gearhead Service regarding the issue. If we feel a refund is in order, the item will need to be returned to us within one week of removal. After that, we cannot refund anything. Remember this is an auction. This is not a retail store.
Buyer is responsible for all loading and rigging and must bring sufficient help and equipment to load. Auctioneer, Gearhead Service LLC, and / or removal location owner are not liable for injuries or damage during removal. At the time the winning bidder pays the invoice in full, ownership of the asset and risk of loss passes immediately to the bidder. If a winning bidder pays the invoice in full, but does not take possession of the assets immediately during the removal day, ownership and risk of loss will still transfer to the bidder upon payment.
Please contact Chad at 612-310-6197 with any questions about shipping or alternate pick up times prior to bidding. If you are unable to make the removal date loading help may not be available. We WILL hold items that are paid with a credit card for up to 30 days until you can remove them. Items that are not PAID with a credit card online or over the phone by the end of the pickup date will be considered no show and abandoned.

This auction is contracted and managed by an independent affiliate. By placing a bid, you agree to both the auction-specific terms listed on this page and the K-BID User Terms and Agreements.
Platform Role

Bidder Responsibilities
By placing a bid, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with all applicable terms.
Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.
Item Condition
All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.
Buyer’s Premium
If applicable, Buyer’s Premium caps are applied per item, not per invoice.
Auction Process
Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.
Local pickup, the customer can arrange to ship through freight company of choice and at buyers expense.
