The graceful marsh birds of South Carolina artist Anne Worsham Richardson appear here in two very large and very fine lithographs, signed and numbered by the author. Both are sealed under Mylar along with posterboard, with Velcro strips applied to the back for display (easily removed).
1. "Great Blue Heron," with "No. 166 / 1000" penciled in lower right and artist's signature below her printed one in the left. Bottom left also reads, "Lithographed by J.R. Rowell Printing Company, Inc., Charleston, SC," and the lower right reads, "Published by (c) 1999 ANNE WORTHSAM RICHARDSON 119-A CHURCH STREET, CHARLESTON, S.C. 29401." Measures 28" long x 21" wide.
2. "Egrets in Lowcountry Swamp," with "No. 1600 / 3000" penciled in the left corner and the artist's penciled signature below her printed one in the right corner. The left corner also states, "Full Color Litho By The R. L. Bryan Co.." Measures 28" long x 21" wide.
About the Artist: Anne Worsham Richardson (1922-2012) was a notable naturalist and prolific animal painter. As a lifelong resident of South Carolina, she began concentrating her artwork on the state's birds, and through a gallery she and her husband opened in Charleston garnered a loyal cadre of fans, including Presidents Reagan, Carter, and Ford. Not one to stop at painting, Richardson also established a bird sanctuary where she simultaneously rehabilitated injured birds and used them as models for her work. Her hope as a conservationist and artist was to engender respect for all life.

Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.

All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.

Auction Process
Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.
Shipping will be available for smaller items at the cost of shipping in addition to our processing fees. Our processing fee structure is as follows:
AFTER you have paid for your items on K-Bid, a separate invoice for the cost of shipping will be emailed to you with in a week.
We can not ship your items until you have paid your K-Bid invoice.
Smaller lots may be able to be bundled together- Inquire beforehand.
Shipping fees cannot be calculated in advance as the items have to be packaged and the package weighed and measured before shipping fees can be calculated.
Once the items have been sent to the shipping department and have been packaged for mail and you have been sent an invoice, picking up your item will no longer be an option as time and money will have been spent to package up your item/s. Thank you.
