The majority of items on this auction are overstock, shelf-pulls and display models from an online retailer. Most are open box, damaged box or no box. They may have small cosmetic imperfections. A small percentage are customer returns. We describe the items to the best of our ability. These items have not been tested unless noted in the description. If you purchase an item and feel it is not as described on our auction, contact us within 24 hours of the end of pick-up. It is up to you as the buyer to inspect the photos and schedule an appointment to view items in person to judge the condition prior to bidding.
Please keep in mind that you are buying from an auction, not a retail store. All items are sold "as is, where is". We do not accept returns or offer refunds. If you feel that an item you purchased is not as described in the listing, you can contact us within 24 hours of pickup. If you are unable to pick up your items on pick-up day, we can hold your items for up to one week, BUT you need to pay your invoice and notify us by the end of the day on pick-up day. Any items not paid for by the end of pick-up day or paid for and not picked up after 1 week will be considered abandoned and forfeited by the buyer. Sorry, but there are NO EXCEPTIONS. We need as much space as possible for upcoming auction merchandise. We appreciate your cooperation:)

As long as your invoice is paid by the end of removal day, you can contact us to hold your items for up to 1 week - BUT, you must let us know by the end of pick up day.

Second Story's LLC reserves the right to charge a $25 per day late pickup fee per item for bidders who are unable to attend the stated removal dates or have arrangements made for pickup.
By participating in this auction, you release Second Story's LLC of any liability of damage or injury that may occur on the premises of this auction.
Auction Terms Addendum
This auction is contracted and managed by an independent affiliate. By placing a bid, you agree to both the auction-specific terms listed on this page and the K-BID User Terms and Agreements.
Platform Role
K-BID Online, Inc. (“K-BID”) operates and maintains K-BID.com as a venue for independent auction companies (“Affiliates”) to conduct online auctions.
Affiliates are independent entities and are not employees, agents, or representatives of K-BID. K-BID’s knowledge of individual auctions is limited to the information provided on the website.
Bidder Responsibilities
By placing a bid, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with all applicable terms.
Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.
Item Condition
All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.
Buyer’s Premium
If applicable, Buyer’s Premium caps are applied per item, not per invoice.
Auction Process
Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.
How to have your items shipped?
1. Notify Second Story's PRIOR to the end of removal day that you desire shipping.
2. With notification, a credit card number must be provided to Second Story's to pay for shipping
3. If your are in the SPEEDEE delivery area, the charge will be a flat $25, If your items do not fit in a box that meets the specifications of SPEEDEE, we will ship your items in 2 boxes and you will be charged $25 per box.
4. If we ship your package by a provider other than SPEEDEE, you will be notified of the amount and charged accordingly.
5. Shipments will be picked up by SPEEDEE one day a week, within 3 days of removal day.
6. If you notify us by the end of removal day that you would like your items shipped but neglect to pay your auction invoice or shipping invoice within 2 days, your items will be considered abondoned and be forfeited to Second Story's to dispose of at our discretion..
7. Second Storys LLC reserves the right NOT to ship particular items that we deem unshippable because of size or fragility.
We do our best to wrap fragil items so they do not break, but take no responsibility if an item reaches you broken. We have on occasion refused to ship an item because of the value or beauty of fragile pieces. If we do so, we do so because we would not ship it if it was ours.
