Annealing machines use neither shears nor cutters but the wire rope is twisted off by annealing. Current is applied to heat the wire when the rope is clamped. When the rope is red hot; it is twisted. After twisting, the rope is slightly rounded, see picture. This facilitates fitting the ferrules. It is also possible
to taper the end of the rope, e.g. for excavating machines, by increasing the distance between the clamping points while twisting is being done.
Since the machines are equipped with eccentric levers for rapid clamping, only one basic setting is required for a specific wire rope diameter. In addition the tension dies are so designed, that they do not require changing for different wire rope diameter. The eccentric lever opening in this design is normally sufficient to facilitate insertion of the wire rope from above. The supply of current is controlled via a foot pedal, leaving the hands free to operate the machine.

Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the independent auction company managing the auction.
We can try to help with shipping of reasonably size items. General box size is 24"x24"x24" or average size moving box. Things we can't help with shipping are: Roll of carpet or rugs, Couches or like type furniture, Bedroom set, Engines or Motors, Vehicles or Trailers. Please let Brian (763-347-1717) know by the day of the removal at least an hour before the end of the day. Sometimes we are only on site for the removal day or days and don't normally have access after those times. Shipping can sometimes take a week or more as we are not alway somewhere with shipping materials with us.
