Melanie Taylor Kent: Large Hand Signed Original LE Serigraph on Paper - "Hollywood Blvd"
This scene by noted California artist Melanie Taylor Kent centers on the Star Wars characters putting their footprints in cement in the Hollywood Walk of Fame in front of Mann's Chinese Theatre (formerly Grauman's Chinese Theatre) on Hollywood Boulevard. The serigraph also includes, however, a plethora of famous Hollywood icons and landmarks - ranging from movie characters from The Wizard of Oz, Rocky, and Mary Poppins, to views of the Hollywood Bowl, The Brown Derby and the Hollywood sign. There is much to take in in this work!
Titled "Hollywood Boulevard" and signed in pencil by the artist, it is #71/300 of a limited edition serigraph print. It is embossed with "Aurora Serigraphics" in the lower right corner. The work is printed on heavy off-white paper with a deckled top edge. It is unframed.
Dimensions:
Condition: The inked serigraph image is in very good condition. The colors are vibrant, ink is solid and shiny. No cracks or chips noted. The paper is stiff and uncreased. It was affixed to a mat at one time with six pieces of a linen tape. Five are stilled attached to the back of the piece. The tape that was once on the center top front appears to have been torn off, leaving a 2.75" long uneven tear along the top rag edge. The rip extends a max distance of .5" deep, and there is an additional .5" linear tear into the paper below. This said, there is still 1.5" of clear border below the rip - plenty of room to mat and frame the piece. There is one small dot indentation/depression in the border of the piece, .75" below the title. - would not show if framed. Please see our photos for additional details.
About the Artist: Melanie Taylor Kent. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Melanie Taylor Kent was raised and has spent most of her life in Southern California. Recently her artwork has been licensed to Warner Bros., The Walt Disney Corporation and Hanna-Barbera. In just a few years she has achieved recognition as "the artist of famous celebrations, streets, and landmarks of America". She combines her art talent and love of history with a whimsical imagination to produce images of brilliant and vivid colors, yet informative because of Melanie's attention to detail and quest for authenticity. Melanie's serigraphs are noted for the famous personalities that delight and challenge collectors to identify them.

Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.
Shipping is available for most reasonably sized items at the cost of shipping in addition to our processing fees. We will also do our best to combine multiple lots into one box/ package if possible.
Our processing fee structure is charged per box/package and is as follows:
$5 - Small items like jewelry
$10- Medium box
$15- Large Box
$20- Custom Shipments of extra large items (Items over 4ft tall)
*** If you purchase multiple lots/ items and we are able to combine them into one package you will only be charged one processing fee.
AFTER you have paid for your items on K-Bid, a separate invoice for the cost of shipping will be emailed to you with in a week.
We can not ship your items until you have paid your K-Bid invoice.
Shipping fees cannot be calculated in advance as the items have to be packaged and the package weighed and measured before shipping fees can be calculated.
Once the items have been sent to the shipping department and have been packaged for mail and you have been sent an invoice, picking up your item will no longer be an option as time and money will have been spent to package up your item/s. Thank you.
