Biesse Akron 440A edge banding machine.
Machine weights 4300 lbs and is 15 feet 8 inches long. It is 3 phase, 200, 60 hz.
This is an automatic, single sided edge banding machine with touch screen operation. Machine can operate using pre-programmed settings or by using manual mode and entering on your own settings. There is a software communication problem so this machine has always been used in the manual mode by the current owner. It has a gluing and hot air unit built in. The feed rate is up to 18m/min. It can mill, it can round and it can groove. This machine has new knives and cutters with spares (spares are shown in photo 29), it has a new glue pot and it has a new dust collection apparatus shown in photos 24 and 25. The custom made dust collection connection piece, that will connect the banding machine to your dust collection system, will be removed from the ceiling and ready for you to take with you on removal day. REMOVAL IS ONE DAY ONLY - WEDNESDAY, MARCH 15 BETWEEN 7 AM AND 3 PM. A FLAT BED OR A SEMI ARE THE BEST WAY TO REMOVE THIS ITEM. THE SELLER'S FORKLIFT OPERATOR WILL LOAD THIS FROM GROUND LEVEL OR A STANDARD LOADING DOCK. THE MACHINE IS 15 FEET 8 INCHES LONG AND WEIGHS 4300 POUNDS.
