The Home Decorators Collection Marlon 84 in. LED Natural Iron Ceiling Fan will bring both style and air movement to any room. This fan uses a DC motor that provides better air movement, more speeds 9, energy efficiency and the reverse function can be controlled by the included remote control. The blades are actually plastic but have a Brazilian walnut finish that appears like real wood. The light kit is also very energy efficient with its integrated 25-Watt LED light module that has a life span of 40,000-hours. DC motor fans are 70% more energy efficient than AC motor fans (when comparing efficiency (CFM/W) of DC vs AC motors in published FTC Energy Guides for ceiling fans).
