Hagenow Laboratories was formed in 1953 and changed its name to Elemental Scientific, LLC in 2000. Elemental specializes in small quantity chemicals supplies glassware and hardware to Home Schools, Universities, Businesses, Entry Level and Professional Chemists.
In 2014 Elemental was acquired by BME Lab and Science based in Little Canada, Minnesota. Like Elemental, BME is a family-owned business that has a long history of serving schools and universities, industries, home businesses and hobbyists.
In 2020, BME/Elemental Scientific closed its retail location to focus on laboratory service, repair, and preventative maintenance. You can learn more about our service here. In the meantime, we will be liquidating our warehouse. We have large quantities of glassware and lab equipment available for purchase. Late Removal: Items not picked up by the removal date will be held for seven days. After this period, the buyer forfits that item, and it will be relisted in the next auction.
Shipping: Shipping is available for most items. Items are shipped exclusively by Elemental Scientific, LLC. We do not accommodate customer arranged shipping nor delivery of items by Elemental Scientific. Contact us for shipping information. We offer USPS and UPS as shipping options.

We package items securely and all shipped items will include a tracking number. Elemental Scientific, LLC is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items. All sales are final. Returns are not accepted.
Disclosure:We do our best to accurately describe and photograph auction items, however all items are sold “as is, where is” – with no warranties or guarantees (written, verbal, implied, or otherwise). You are responsible for inspecting items prior to purchase.
Late Removals: Items paid for, but not picked up during the removal period will be charged a $25 Appointment Fee for any pickups outside the stated removal date and times. You must notify us of your intent to pick-up outside the scheduled removal dates by the end of the scheduled auction removal period. Payment is always required during the removal period.
No Shows: When the scheduled removal window ends, all unpaid invoices will be marked as ‘No Shows.’ If the high bidder of an item does not acknowledge the purchase, The affiliate reserves the right to determine if, how, and to whom the auction item will be resold. If we determine that the winning bid was not a bona fide bidder, the item will not automatically go to the next highest bidder.
Release of Liability:By participating in this auction, you release Elemental Scientific of any liability of damage or injury that may occur on the premises of this auction.
Auction Terms Addendum
This auction is contracted and managed by an independent affiliate. By placing a bid, you agree to both the auction-specific terms listed on this page and the K-BID User Terms and Agreements.
Platform Role
K-BID Online, Inc. (“K-BID”) operates and maintains K-BID.com as a venue for independent auction companies (“Affiliates”) to conduct online auctions.

Bidder Responsibilities

Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.
Item Condition
All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.
Buyer’s Premium
If applicable, Buyer’s Premium caps are applied per item, not per invoice.

Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.
Shipping is available for most items, please verify within each item that shipping is available. There is an icon that indicates if it's shippable or not. A $5 handling fee per item, plus the cost of shipping will be charged to the buyer.
