This will be the first of several auctions as we start to liquidate Mr. McWilliams Estate. Gary McWilliams was a longtime antique dealer and collector in the St. Paul area, and his collection of items ranges from primitives, Mid Century Modern, advertising, fine art, furniture and everything in between. There's also a NO RESERVE 1953 Chevy Bel Air that has been parked in the garage for countless years just waiting to hit the road once again! You'll find some high quality and desirable items as you scroll through the auction lots. We've packed some nice box lots together that can't be passed up!
Mr. McWilliams now calls Navada home and must liquidate his assets. Unfortunately, back in November of 2023 his home was burglarized and a portion set on fire. The home will be torn down, but not before saving the vintage and antique treasures that still lie within it. Because of the fire, some items will and/or may have the smell of smoke or soot on them. Inspection will be done by appointment only. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Pickup and removal day will be scheduled and flexible to accommodate winning bidders. Winning bidders will receive an email/text with instructions for pickup in Coon Rapids. If for some reason you are unable to pick up your item on the scheduled removal day. Please text 763-913-7078 to make other arrangements. Items not picked up within 48 hours after the initial removal day will be considered abandoned and placed back up for auction.

Payment Types Accepted: Payment is preferred through your K-BID dashboard before pickup. Cash and cards will be accepted during pickup. You may also make your payment over the phone by calling the number above.
ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED PRIOR TO THE END OF THE SCHEDULED REMOVAL DAY(S). If payment is NOT received by the end of the removal date, items will be re-sold. Please DO NOT bid if you cannot pay and pick up your items on the scheduled removal day (unless other arrangements have been made).
Removal: Removal will be scheduled. Winning bidders will receive an email with specific instructions for pickup. Please bring necessary help, tools and proper size equipment or vehicle to haul your items. At the close of the removal / pickup day, all unpaid invoices will be processed as NO SHOWS and all remaining lots will be considered abandoned and disposed of at the affiliate’s discretion.

Refunds and/or Returns: Once you have picked up your item(s) and they have been removed from the auction site, refunds or returns will NOT be accepted. Buster Lee is not responsible for missing or damaged items after they have been removed. Please inspect your items and bring any questions or concerns to the attention of the auction manager before leaving the auction premises. NO refunds will be given for abandoned lots.
Release of Liability: By participating in this auction, you release Buster Lee of any liability for damage or injury that may occur on the premises of this auction.

This auction is contracted and managed by an independent affiliate. By placing a bid, you agree to both the auction-specific terms listed on this page and the K-BID User Terms and Agreements.
Platform Role

Bidder Responsibilities

Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.

All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.
Buyer’s Premium
If applicable, Buyer’s Premium caps are applied per item, not per invoice.
Auction Process
Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.

FEES: Actual shipping cost plus $5 processing per package. We do our best to consolidate items in the same box. We will automatically add signature confirmation and additional insurance on larger valued packages.
ATTENTION: If you want an item shipped that is marked not shippable, it will be marked as a no show.
