Vintage SCHOENHUT German Circus Pony Pull Toy

Excellent condition, made out of felt and wood and believed to be from 1949.  Stamped on the bottom #98 West Germany.

  1. PLEASE NOTE: This auction is being held at our studios.  There will be large sandwich boards with signage guiding you to the pickup area.  The pickup studio is in the lower level of the building adjoining Farmers State Bank of Hamel.  You will be turning by Rusted Nail, which is a bright, mint green building and going to the back area of the bank to the sidewalk that leads to the back door.  The pickup area is in the lower level of the building and there are stairs.

    REMOVAL TIMES:  Appointments can be made under your account at K-Bid.com.  Appointments help us facilitate a faster pick up for everyone.  We are not able to accommodate special requests for alternative times or dates.  Immediately after an auction pick up concludes, we are busy loading the next auction.  We request that you do not bid if you are not able to pick up your items on the day and time specified.  In the rare cases of an approved later pick up, there is a $5.00 per day/per lot handling and storage fee.

    PACKING MATERIALS: No packing materials or boxes are provided.  Customers are responsible to make sure they have all their items before leaving the pickup area.  Auction Studios is not responsible for items forgotten or left behind.

    LARGE ITEMS: Staff is unable to assist in the removal of any items including larger furniture.  Please bring appropriate help and the appropriately sized vehicle for removal.  The items are in the lower level of the building with stairs when the pick is at the studios.  (If the auction title says, "at the Studios".

    UNPAID NO SHOWS: After the removal time has expired, all unpaid invoices will be processed as a NO SHOW.  Those lots will be considered abandoned and disposed of at the affiliate's discretion.  The lots may be relisted for lack of payment.  NO SHOWS run the risk of having their account disabled by K-Bid and penalty fees may be incurred to have an account reinstated.

    PAID NO SHOWS: Items that have been paid for and have not been picked up by the end of the removal time listed in the auction will be considered abandoned and Auction Studios will dispose of or relist items as they see fit.  NO REFUNDS will be made.  

    SHIPPING: If an item is listed as shippable, as a courtesy, we will bring your item to UPS for you for packing and shipping.  If you want to get an estimate on what your shipping costs will be, please contact them.

    ·      Items returned to us for lack of payment for the shipping at UPS will result in the loss of shipping privileges.  If items are returned to us for lack of payment, we will try to reach you by phone.  If we have no response from you within 3 days of the phone call, we will consider the item(s) abandoned and will dispose of at our discretion.  NO REFUNDS will be made.  As a gentle reminder, we are an Auction company, not a shipping company and we are bringing this to UPS as a courtesy for you.  

    ·      We have no control over fees and shipping costs. There are many factors that will greatly increase the rate including the size and weight.  i.e.  Artwork is expensive to ship because of its size, not necessarily the weight.

PAYMENTS ACCEPTED -  Cash and credit card accepted, wire transfers required over $5000.  We do not accept checks. 

At our discretion, we MAY accept CC's over $5,000. however the buyer will be subject to a 3% surcharge.  

REMOVAL - Inspection and removal times are firm.  If you are unable to honor the times posted, please do not bid.  After the removal time has expired, all unpaid invoices will be processed as NO SHOWS and all remaining lots will be considered abandoned and disposed of at the affiliate’s discretion.   NO SHOWS run the risk of having their account locked down by K-BIDand penalty fees may be incurred.  

ABANDONED ITEMS:  Items paid for but not picked up during the removal will be considered abandoned and no refunds will be issued.  

REMOVAL HELP:  Employees of Auction Studios are unable to help lift, carry or transport any heavy items.  Please bring appropriate help for the removal of items. 

ITEM CONDITION: We do our best to provide accurate pictures and descritpions. However, every auction item is sold as is/where is with no guarantees or warranties.  It is the bidder’s responsibility to inspect and evaluate any items prior to bidding.  Items will be available for inspection on the times posted in the auction.  All items are a final sale with no refunds or returns.  It is the bidder’s responsibility to inspect items before they leave the auction premises.  No refunds will be made on items that have left the auction premises.

*Unless noted, all items are in used condition and may show signs of use and wear.

DISCREPENCIES IN DESCRIPTION VS THE PHOTOS:  In the event of human error or a rare computer glitch, the description of a lot will prevail over what the photos are showing.

This auction is contracted and managed by an independent affiliate. By placing a bid, you agree to both the auction-specific terms listed on this page and the K-BID User Terms and Agreements.

Platform Role
K-BID Online, Inc. (“K-BID”) operates and maintains K-BID.com as a venue for independent auction companies (“Affiliates”) to conduct online auctions.
Affiliates are independent entities and are not employees, agents, or representatives of K-BID. K-BID’s knowledge of individual auctions is limited to the information provided on the website.

Bidder Responsibilities
By placing a bid, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with all applicable terms.

  • Bidders are responsible for all activity under their account.
  • Account information and passwords must not be shared.
  • All bids are binding and may not be retracted.

Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.

Item Condition
All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.

Buyer’s Premium
If applicable, Buyer’s Premium caps are applied per item, not per invoice.

Auction Process

  • Items with a reserve will not sell unless the reserve price is met.
  • Affiliates may lower reserves at any time:
    • During the auction: updated reserve status will be displayed.
    • After closing: the highest bidder may be awarded the item if the reserve is lowered.
  • At closing, items with active bidding will remain open until no bids are received for three (3) minutes.
  • Outbid notifications are not sent once an item enters the closing process.

Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.

If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:

  • Reinstatement is at K-BID’s discretion
  • Requires payment of:
    • 20% penalty on unpaid invoice(s)
    • $25 reinstatement fee
  • A valid government-issued ID must be provided
  • Unpaid items will not be awarded

Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.

Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.

Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.

WE WILL NOT SHIP ITEMS WITH AN HAMMER INVOICE TOTAL LESS THAN $20.00.SHIPPING When possible, we will ship smaller items using a third party shipping service.  In most cases, we utilize UPS.  We are not responsible for the fees they charge and are not able to give quotes.  Items must be PAID before we can ship. 

If you would like your item shipped,

1.     Invoice for items must be paid in full BEFORE a shipping request is made.

2.    Text the number listed on the auction or email auctionstudios@gmail.com with your name, bidder number and the auction title stating please ship my items. Shipping requests must be made BEFORE the pick up time listed on the auction.

3.     We bring items to UPS once a week.  (Typically on Tuesdays or Wednesdays) 

4.     UPS will send you a separate invoice for shipping your items. Please allow 5-10 days for processing time. 

5.     Once shipping is paid, your item will be shipped.

PAYMENTS ACCEPTED - We use Square to process payments and Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. If you choose to pay with credit card, it is preferable that you pay your invoice online to help expedite the pickup process.  We will accept cash payments and credit card payments at the auction pickup as well.   We do not accept personal or business checks. Wire transfers for any purchases over $5000. 

After the auction has closed, you will receive an emailed invoice from K-Bid.  If you do not receive the invoice, please go to your account at K-Bid.com.

Invoices for shipping will be in a separate email from UPS. Typically, you should receive the invoice within 3-5 days after the auction close.  Please allow for a longer time during peak periods
