Linda Le Kinff was born in Paris to Franco-Brazilian Parents. Her Father a Doctor died when she was 3 and her mother remarried but she did spend her childhood in boarding schools. She attended Rophee a select institute in Neuilly, where music, art, language and literature are taught. In 1968 she enrolled at the Sorbonne in Paris and self-published her first lithograph edition "Le Masque".
Linda started her career as a painter at the age of 20. In the 1970s she traveled to India, Tibet, Mexico and Italy. She lived and worked in Italy for 12 years learning the ancient techniques of tempera, egg painting and the gold leaf method, taught by masters in Florence and Livorno. She also served an apprenticeship in wood engraving, copper engraving, and excelled in learning the modern techniques of acrylic and airbrush painting. Le Kinff works without a model and her inspiration comes from travel, her dreams, reading and her imagination.
Linda's subjects are extremely diverse and include musical scenes or poetic interpretations of people caught in an intimate moment of their lives. Linda loves attending the circus, especially Cirque du Soleil. She is inspired by the amazing flexibility and movement of the performers.
In 1998, Le Kinff was selected as the Official World Cup Artist and exhibited in the cities where the matches took place, Montpellier, Saint-Denis, Nantes, Marseilles, Toulouse, and Lyon. Her medallion was exhibited at the Monnaie de Paris, where French Nemaic has been minted since the 15th century, and the Euro since 1999
Linda was honored to be the official artist of the 2010 Kentucky Derby, featuring her work on posters, prints, tickets, racing programs, and officially licensed products for the 136th Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks.
She has had many one-woman art exhibitions throughout the World and has had many paintings and limited edition works collected Worldwide.
PLEASE NOTE: Pick up/removal is on the scheduled day only with no exceptions. We are not able to accommodate individual/specialized pick-up dates and times. Please review the pick-up schedule BEFORE bidding to ensure you are available or can send someone in your place to pick up your items. DO NOT call and ask for special individualized pick-up dates and times as we cannot accommodate this. If you are bidding, you acknowledge that you are aware of the pick-up date and time, and it is not our responsibility to send reminders. We do our best to send reminder texts and phone calls when needed.
PACKING MATERIALS: No packing materials including boxes are provided. Customers are responsible to make sure they have all their items before leaving the pick-up/auction site. We are not responsible for items forgotten or left behind.
LARGE ITEMS: Staff is unable to assist in the removal of any items including larger furniture. Please bring appropriate help and an appropriately sized vehicle! As most of our auctions are conducted in private homes, some items may be located are upper or lower levels of the home.
NO SHOWS: After the removal time has expired, all unpaid invoices will be processed as NO SHOWS and all remaining lots will be considered abandoned and disposed of at the affiliate’s discretion. NO SHOWS run the risk of having their account locked down by K-BID and penalty fees may be incurred to have an account reinstated.
SHIPPING: If an item is offered as shippable, we will bring the item to a third-party shipping company for you. We have no control over the fees they may charge. There are factors that will greatly increase the rate including the size and weight. i.e. Artwork is expensive to ship because of the size, not the weight.
If you would like you would like your item shipped:
1. Invoice for all items to be shipped must be PAID IN FULL. We will not ship if unpaid.
2. Text 952-212-0191 with your name, bidder number and the auction title stating please ship my items. WE MUST HAVE NOTIFICATION BEFORE THE PICKUP TIME CLOSES.
3. We will typically bring your item to UPS within two days of the pickup/removal date.
4. UPS will send you a separate invoice for shipping your items. The items will not ship until the invoice has been paid. Please allow 5-10 days for processing time.
5. Once paid your item will be shipped.
6) If we are able to do in house shipping, we charge a $15 handling fee for the first lot and $10.00 for each lot after. For one lot of smaller items just as jewelry, the handling fee is less.

Items with a reserve will not be sold unless the reserve price has been met.
At the close of the auction, active items will remain open until no bids have been received for three minutes.

In the event that bidding rights are terminated due to no-show invoices, bidders MAY be reinstated at the discretion of K-BID only after a penalty fee of 20% of the unpaid invoice(s) and a reinstatement fee of $25.00 has been paid to K-BID and a scanned copy of your driver's license emailed to us. INVOICED ITEMS WILL NOT BE AWARDED. The payment is punitive and meant to deter no-shows. Duplicate bidder accounts will be deactivated when they are determined to exist. If possible and at our discretion, K-BID reserves the right to delete any bid we believe has been placed by a suspect bidder. Any registration that shows up on our fraud detection system may be placed on hold and bids removed until the user is verified. K-BID Online, Inc reserves the right to disallow anybody from bidding on its website. Cases of obvious bidding with no intent to redeem will be referred to appropriate legal authorities.
Affiliates may lower a lot reserve at any time before or after an auction closes. If the reserve is lowered while the auction is in progress, the applicable reserve message will appear below the Next Required Bid information (Reserve Not Met or Reserve Has Been Met); the asset will sell to the high bidder if the lowered reserve amount is met. If the reserve is lowered after the auction closes, the highest bidder at auction close will receive a winning bidder invoice.
Once an auction begins its closing process, outbid notifications will not be sent.
