For a nickel the person tries to drag a sawed off screwdriver over a multi-bent rod and keep the screwdriver from touching the rod or the Bell rings and the tool sparks. The Booz Barometer inspired several very similar games over the next half century, including the Challenger game of the 1960's.
Booz Barometer was produced by Northwestern Corp. in 1950.
