Iconic & Historical 16' Bronze Boot Sign
This is an amazing artifact of Grand Forks history, as the Bronze Boot was a Grand Forks destination from 1954-2012. After the restaurant closed, the sign was purchased by Home of Economy, and it remained displayed in the Home of Economy store until 2024.
This sign is made out of tin and measures 16' from the top of the boot to the bottom of the boot. Full measurement from the top of the boot to the bottom of the posts is 17-1/2'. Width of boot at widest point is 14'. This is a double-sided sign that was initially outside of the restaurant. When it was restored for Home of Economy display, it was modified slightly to be displayed against a wall. This could be restored to former double-sided glory or remain an indoor display!
The beautiful (and huge) sign has now been removed from the store and is up for auction! During removal, one small neon bulb (maybe about 16" or so) was broken, but all other bulbs remained intact.
If you are the winning bidder, you will need to arrange your own removal equipment, and you'll need to coordinate this with the store to ensure a safe removal.

This auction has items in two different locations (warehouse at 2165 N 42nd St, Grand Forks) and (Home of Economy/Runnings store at 1508 N. Washington St, Grand Forks), so the pickup will be a little different.

Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.
I try to proactively identify cards that will need to be mailed and start packaging the day after the auction. If you look at your invoice and it has shipping added, as long as the address on the invoice is the correct one, please feel free to pay and I'll get this in the mail!
