A moving and beautifully preserved printed program from the funeral service of June Carter Cash, held on Sunday, May 18, 2003, at the First Baptist Church in Hendersonville, Tennessee. This rare piece honors the extraordinary life, legacy, and faith of a woman whose voice, spirit, and love shaped generations of music and family.
The front of the program features a tender image of June in her younger years—graceful, elegant, and full of light. Inside, the program reflects the heartfelt service that included scripture, songs, and tributes from some of the people who loved her most. Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers opened with “Help Me,” followed by readings of Romans 8:28 and John 14. Emmylou Harris offered a stirring performance of “Angel Band,” and The Oak Ridge Boys and Sheryl Crow each delivered moving musical tributes.
The service concluded with a chorus of “Anchored in Love” sung by Joe Carter, Janette Carter, Lorrie Bennett, and Dale Jett—bringing the moment full circle to the Carter Family roots. Honorary pallbearers include Willie Nelson, Hank Williams Jr., Jane Seymour, Robert Duvall, Rick Rubin, and many others from across music, film, and personal life who were touched by June’s heart and humanity.
The back features the full text of Psalm 103—an anchor of peace and grace, just like June herself.

Her talents as a singer, songwriter, comedian, and actress earned her both critical acclaim and the enduring love of generations of fans. She was the heart of a musical dynasty and a grounding presence in Johnny’s life. Her legacy lives on not only in the music she made but in the way she loved, laughed, and lifted others.
