A touching piece of remembrance from the family of Johnny Cash, this original acknowledgment card was issued following his passing on September 12, 2003. The front features a striking black-and-white image of Johnny Cash from behind, with his iconic guitar slung over his back—a powerful symbol of the Man in Black walking into eternity.
Inside, the simple, heartfelt message reads:
“The family of Johnny Cash gratefully acknowledges your kind expression of sympathy.”
The card is accompanied by its original matching envelope, addressed from 700 Johnny Cash Parkway, Hendersonville, Tennessee—a location deeply connected to the Cash family legacy.
Condition: Pre-owned condition with light handling wear. Some light spots on the envelope. Please review photos for additional details.

All items described as platinum, gold (10k–18k, yellow or white), Platlite, or sterling silver are guaranteed to be solid metal — never filled or plated.
Any item described as a diamond is guaranteed to be a genuine, natural diamond unless otherwise stated. If a lab-grown diamond is present, it will be clearly noted in the description.
Gemstones — including rubies, sapphires, emeralds, alexandrite, tanzanite, amethyst, citrine, topaz, morganite, and others — may be natural, lab-created, color-enhanced, glass-filled, crystallized, or laser-treated. Natural stones will be labeled as such. Carat weights are approximate and typically fall within a 10% range of stated size due to mounting constraints.
Any appraisal, auction estimate, or stated retail value reflects the opinion of the evaluator based on comparable new jewelry in the current market. These values are provided for reference only and should not be the sole basis for purchase or resale. Karats by Auction House is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or changes in value.
