This incredible piece of Johnny Cash history combines the rigors of life on the road with a moment of unexpected cool — a handwritten note from Johnny that simply reads: “Call Clint Eastwood.” Beneath it is the name “Jess Gressett” and a phone number, all scribbled on the reverse of his 1979 tour hotel itinerary. The note is underlined multiple times in bold strokes, as if to reinforce its importance — a clear memory jogger for the Man in Black to make time for a call to the legendary actor and filmmaker.
The front side details a string of scheduled hotel stays for Johnny’s tour from November 28 to December 19, 1979, including cities like San Carlos, Salt Lake City, Denver, Portland, and Las Vegas. This itinerary reflects the breakneck pace of Cash’s life at the time — a whirlwind of performances, travel, and hotel rooms.
The juxtaposition of these two elements — a gritty, well-worn tour list and a handwritten reminder to “Call Clint Eastwood” — provides an extraordinary look into Johnny Cash’s unique world: one foot in the grind of touring, the other in the orbit of Hollywood legends.

Any item described as a diamond is guaranteed to be a genuine, natural diamond unless otherwise stated. If a lab-grown diamond is present, it will be clearly noted in the description.
Gemstones — including rubies, sapphires, emeralds, alexandrite, tanzanite, amethyst, citrine, topaz, morganite, and others — may be natural, lab-created, color-enhanced, glass-filled, crystallized, or laser-treated.
