Seller custom ordered the truck, it was built September 23rd, 2003. Seller was able to watch the chassis build from beginning to end, then drove it home the same day. Because it was built pre-emissions requirements no DEF required. The way the truck sits no Class A license is required to drive it until a trailer is pulled behind. The truck has been well cared for with regular maintenance and stored inside a heated shop since built.
The odometer shows 253,770 miles, but the engine was rebuilt in-frame February 2017 at 191,717 miles by Smokey's Repair. Rebuild was complete from the injectors, to the head, to the air conditioning.
The engine is a DT466 7.6L pushing 250 HP, with factory exhaust brake, air conditioning, and cruise control. The transmission is an Allison HD automatic transmission.
No expense was spared with the functionality of this work truck. The Pure-Sine inverter is strong enough to run a small welder with wiring run to the back door. All 4 sides of the box have spray in foam insulation, with 1/2" plywood interior walls. The roof of the box is diamond plate with two ladders to access it. On the back of the box there are ambulance type LED lights for working in the dark. The interior of the box is equipped with LED lights and an RV Furnace for a little extra comfort. The rear doors lock and unlock with the same aftermarket key fob that operates the cab, there is also a red light on the dash that warns when the rear door is open. The interior dimensions of the box are 17' 3" x 7' 12". There is also a removable vise mounted on the 2" diamond plate at the rear of the truck.
The seller also insisted on being comfortable while driving, it is equipped with AC, cruise control, back-up camera, and heated mirrors that are adjustable electronically. It has exhaust brake, rear air dump, electric windows, and a cab wing air deflector. For hauling it is equipped with air trailer brakes, run by heavy duty relays designed for a bus.
The seller is also including some parts for the truck. There is a full set of rear wheels and tires that were purchased new and only used for one season. The original starter and alternator that are both bad but are good candidates for a rebuild. There is also a new set of International floor mats, and various maintenance parts.
