Vintage heavy silver with 14kt gold overlay/vermeil (jeweler tested) cuff watch band with 1inch square Longines watch face.
This beautiful piece of wearable time is highly decorated and contains 10 graduated size turquoise polished nuggets (5 on each side of band) in a fluted bezel setting surrounded by large beads and leaves that hold the watch face in place. The outside of the cuff is entirely overlayed in gold with a silver interior. Watch was wound and worked.
The cuff measures about 7-1/2 inches with an additional 1-1/4 inch opening at the back. The width at center front is 1-1/8 inch tapering to 5/8 inch at the back opening.
There is an unusual maker’s mark on the inside just behind the watch face mounting that appears to be a 'symbol' or stylized combination V over Q. Appears Navajo by design.
