Hairy Mosquito is not liable for missing or damaged items after they are removed.

Auction Terms Addendum
This auction is contracted and managed by an independent auctioneer. By placing a bid, you agree to both the auction-specific terms listed on this page and the K-BID User Terms and Agreements.
Platform Role
K-BID Online, Inc. (“K-BID”) operates and maintains K-BID.com as a venue for independent auction companies to conduct online auctions.
They are independent entities and are not employees, agents, or representatives of K-BID. K-BID’s knowledge of individual auctions is limited to the information provided on the website.
Bidder Responsibilities
By placing a bid, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with all applicable terms.
Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.
Item Condition
All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.
Buyer’s Premium
If applicable, Buyer’s Premium caps are applied per item, not per invoice.
Auction Process
Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the independent auction company managing the auction.
PRIOR to BIDDING - Check to make sure the item is in fact "shippable".
if not... contact us in advance for arrangements on items not listed as "shippable". If you strongly desire to have that item shipped regardless, it is possible in many cases to arrange your own transport & pickup on oversized items that we generally don't ship. For example, a full size car or vintage motorcycle.
Place a winning bid for your desired lot.
Once you have a winning bid on an item....and you would like to have it shipped....
Pay your K-BID invoice online as soon as the auction ends.
You must pay by the end of the posted removal period. The Hairy Mosquito cannot send a shipping invoice until you pay for your K-Bid invoice.
Misc. items, box lots, etc.: You will be charged a *Packaging and Handling Fee of $10 for your first lot and $5 per lot thereafter in addition to the actual freight charges.
Coins: You will be charged a flat shipping rate of $5.95 for your first lot, $2.00 for each additional lot, and applicable insurance based on the invoice total.

License Plates and similar small (flat) items: You will be charged a $7.99 combined flat rate for up to 4 plates. Additional charges added based on total weight.
We will often reduce or waive a portion of these fees, though there is no guarantee - this is based on a case-by-case basis. Like we always say, call ahead and find out!
Shipping invoices will only be sent to the email address associated with your K-bid account. PLEASE CHECK your SPAM folders.
We will process shipping invoices each Monday. Pay by 2pm CST on that same Monday & your item/s will be shipped that day. All other packages will be sent within 2-4 business days of invoice payment.
You shall receive an email confirmation and tracking # via Pirate Ship automatically when your label is printed.

Best to pay for your auction invoice immediately online up to $2K.
We accept credit cards over $2K or cash at pickup.

Alternative pickup times require prior approval - the only way to do that is send an email to hairymosquito@hotmail.com with your name and bidder number. Once an alternative pickup time is arranged, we will confirm with an email message, otherwise, we expect you to pay for and pick up your items before the end of the removal period.
