Specimens such as this originate from Morocco, where ancient Devonian marine sediments preserved large numbers of prehistoric cephalopods. The long, torpedo-shaped Orthoceras fossils contrast beautifully with the spiral ammonites, creating a dynamic natural composition that highlights the diversity of early marine life.
The fossils have been carefully cut and polished to expose the internal chamber structures and natural mineral banding within the shells.
