Lot Description:

Bid now on the 3 night Starcruiser 460 fishing adventure! Pack up your rods, get your fishing boat in tow (or rent one from us), and you’ll be ready to dive deep into Voyageurs National Park searching for the catch of a lifetime. Fishing Opener is Mother’s Day weekend as usual, Saturday May 9th.

Trip Dates: May 8-11, 2026 (Friday to Monday)

New To Houseboating? No Problem. No Prior Boating Experience Needed.

Houseboating can seem a daunting task but we assure you it’s far simpler than one thinks. Just make the trip to the North Woods and we’ll handle the rest. Houseboats can be operated without any prior boating experience, although it’s nice to have. Just think of them as a big pontoon, that doesn’t move quick enough to get into any trouble. You’ll be given an in-depth lesson on boating and Voyageurs National Park before you take off. GPS is on all houseboats and we know your location at all times should you need assistance. Radios are on all boats to communicate with base should you need assistance or have questions. Our hospitality boat can run out anything you need from bait, ice, firewood, to snacks. Service boats are available should you need assistance. We have it all taken care of, all you need to do is cast the line.

The Houseboat: Starcruiser 460

The Starcruiser 460 is ideal for fishing trips, family getaways, and exploring the park at your own pace. With a 46-foot length, it comfortably sleeps 6 to 8 people and includes:

Five double beds – Room for everyone
One bathroom – Essential comfort on board
50-horsepower motor – Smooth cruising through the waterways
Stovetop, oven, microwave, and refrigerator – Cook up your catch of the day
* 6 Person Hot Tub – Take a break from fishing to relax
* Built-In Generator – Reliable power for your trip

Fishing in Voyageurs National Park

Voyageurs National Park covers about 218,000 acres (roughly 342 square miles) in northern Minnesota, along the Canadian border. Around 40% of the park is water, made up of interconnected lakes like Kabetogama, Namakan, and Sand Point. The rest is a mix of forests, rocky ridges, and small islands making it one of the most water based national parks in the U.S.

Minnesota's only national park, Voyageurs National Park is a quiet, vast, and beautiful place with great fishing and plenty of room to explore. The mix of lakes, islands, and rocky shorelines makes it easy to find a good spot away from the crowds. Early in the season, fish are usually shallow and active, especially around points and bays. It’s a laid back place where you can relax, enjoy the scenery, and catch some solid fish without noise or pressure. Our fishing guide, Dale “The Bearded Wonder” is featured in the photos, showing what’s possible out there!
