The 1989 Canadian set also appears to include 7 coins with visible 1989 dates, including a commemorative Canada dollar at top, a second larger dollar at bottom, and the matching 50 cents, 25 cents, 10 cents, 5 cents, and 1 cent. The U.S. “America’s Obsolete Coin Collection” display includes 4 coins and the printed insert identifies them as a Washington Silver Quarter, Mercury Dime, Buffalo Nickel, and Lincoln Steel Penny. The insert also states the circulation years for those types as Washington Silver Quarter 1932-1964, Mercury Dime 1916-1945, Buffalo Nickel 1913-1938, and Lincoln Steel Penny 1943. Based on that printed identification, the visible silver content in this lot is the Washington silver quarter and Mercury dime in the obsolete coin display.
