After the auction has closed, you will receive an emailed invoice for your item(s) from K-Bid. If you don't see an emailed invoice, check your spam folder. You can then log into your K-Bid account- select "Invoice" and pay for your item(s). Next, schedule your appointment time for removal or indicate if you need shipping.
Note: Payment for shipping, if requested, is a separate transaction. We will email you a separate invoice for the cost of shipping within 6-8 days after the auction pickup. Please make sure you have paid your K-Bid invoice and have requested shipping.
PLEASE NOTE: This sale is being conducted in a PRIVATE HOME and there are no exceptions to the removal date. Accommodations after the scheduled pickup window will not be provided, items paid for and not picked up during the scheduled pickup window will be considered abandoned and no refunds given.
If special pickup arrangements are required outside the pickup window, arrangements need to be made prior to the start of the pickup window and an additional minimum $35 special handling fee will be assessed per lot. While we make our best effort to note issues on items either in writing or by our photographs, absence of a formal condition report does not imply that a piece is perfect, free from defects, or the effects of aging. Please review all photos carefully prior to bidding. Any condition statement is a courtesy to our buyers and should be considered our opinion and not a statement of fact or free from human error. INSPECTION TIME: BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We offer a two hour inspection period. We do not list the auction location because we work in private homes. Please email angie@northernlightsST.com if you want to come to the auction inspection. We will give you a 15 minute inspection time and provide the address. Please arrange an appointment at least 24 hours before the inspection window.
PACKING MATERIALS: Packing materials including boxes are not always provided. Be prepared to handle your items. Customers are responsible to make sure they have all their items before leaving the pick-up/auction site. We are not responsible for items forgotten or left behind.
LARGE ITEMS: Please bring appropriate help and an appropriately sized vehicle! As most of our auctions are conducted in private homes, some items may be located in the upper or lower levels of the home. Northern Lights Senior Transitions employees are unable to help lift, carry or transport any items unless special arrangements are made. If special arrangements are made for Northern Lights employees to assist with lifting, carrying or transporting items there will be a minimum fee of $35, additional fees are based on Northern Lights discretion. NO SHOWS/UNPAID INVOICES: After the pickup window time has expired, all unpaid invoices will be processed as NO SHOWS and all remaining lots will be considered abandoned and disposed of at the affiliate’s discretion. NO SHOWS run the risk of having their account locked down by K-BID and penalty fees may be incurred to have an account reinstated.
SHIPPING: If an item is offered as shippable and you indicate that you want shipping in your dashboard before the scheduled pick-up window we will either ship the item or bring the item to a third-party shipping company for you. We have no control over the fees they may charge. There are factors that will greatly increase the rate including the size and weight. i.e. Artwork is expensive to ship because of the size, not the weight.
We charge a handling fee of $10 per lot, plus the cost of shipping. Shipping costs are variable based on the item and buyer location! S&H fee to be combined at discretion of Northern Lights Senior Transitions. The buyer takes full responsibility for any damage during packaging and shipping. The buyer agrees to hold Northern Lights, third-party shipping company, and K-bids harmless for any shipping damage.

Online payments through K-BID, Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex) on site or cash will be accepted.
We highly recommend pre-payment using credit card within 24 hours of your invoiced being issue to save time during the pick-up process.
Certified bank check or cash is accepted for purchases over $5,000. At our discretion credit cards are accepted for purchases over $5,000 with a required 4.0% fee on the total invoice amount.
No personal checks accepted.

ABANDONED ITEMS: Items paid for but not picked up during the pick-up window will be considered abandoned and no refunds will be issued.
ITEM CONDITION: We do our best to provide accurate pictures and descriptions. However, every auction item is sold as is/where is with no guarantees or warranties. It is the bidder’s responsibility to inspect and evaluate any items prior to bidding. Items will be available for inspection on the times posted in the auction. All items are a final sale with no refunds or returns. It is the bidder’s responsibility to inspect items before they leave the auction premises. No refunds will be made on items that have left the auction premises.
*Unless noted, all items are in used condition and may show signs of use and wear.
On occasion there is a computer glitch where the wrong photo may show in an incorrect auction. If it is clear that item is NOT part of the lot, it will be not be included and no refund or credit will be given.
By participating in this auction, you release Northern Lights Senior Transitions, the home owner and K-BID of any liability of damage or injury that may occur on the premises of this auction.

This auction is contracted and managed by an independent affiliate. By placing a bid, you agree to both the auction-specific terms listed on this page and the K-BID User Terms and Agreements.
Platform Role
K-BID Online, Inc. (“K-BID”) operates and maintains K-BID.com as a venue for independent auction companies (“Affiliates”) to conduct online auctions.
Affiliates are independent entities and are not employees, agents, or representatives of K-BID. K-BID’s knowledge of individual auctions is limited to the information provided on the website.
Bidder Responsibilities
By placing a bid, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with all applicable terms.
Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.
Item Condition
All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.
Buyer’s Premium
If applicable, Buyer’s Premium caps are applied per item, not per invoice.

Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.
