The 2005 Proof Set features the two Westward Journey Jefferson Nickel designs commemorating the Lewis and Clark expedition, along with all five 2005 State Quarter issues. The accompanying U.S. Mint documentation confirms that the coins were produced and packaged by the San Francisco Mint and bear the “S” mint mark.
This is the standard clad 2005 U.S. Mint Proof Set, not the Silver Proof Set. The included U.S. Mint specification sheet identifies the quarters, dime and half dollar as copper-nickel clad compositions.

Coins remain housed in their U.S. Mint proof lenses and display bright reflective proof surfaces. Close-up photographs show some dust, fine lines, spotting and other marks visible through the plastic; some apparent marks may be on the holders rather than directly on the coins.
Outer box and paperwork show storage and handling wear, including edge/corner wear and light surface marks.
Coins have not been professionally graded or independently authenticated by MC SALES. No numerical grade or cameo designation is being represented. Composition and production information is taken from the accompanying official U.S. Mint documentation. Please review all photographs closely for exact condition. Selling as pictured.

This auction is contracted and managed by an independent affiliate. By placing a bid, you agree to both the auction-specific terms listed on this page and the K-BID User Terms and Agreements.
Platform Role
K-BID Online, Inc. (“K-BID”) operates and maintains K-BID.com as a venue for independent auction companies (“Affiliates”) to conduct online auctions.

Bidder Responsibilities
By placing a bid, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with all applicable terms.
Inspection & Removal
Inspection dates and times are provided for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
Removal day is not an inspection day.
Once an auction closes and an invoice is issued, the winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.
Item Condition
All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees or warranties. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence.
Buyer’s Premium
If applicable, Buyer’s Premium caps are applied per item, not per invoice.
Auction Process
Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with auction terms, including removal requirements, may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
If bidding privileges are suspended due to unpaid invoices:
Duplicate accounts will be deactivated. Suspected fraudulent activity may result in bid removal, account holds, or permanent suspension. K-BID reserves the right to refuse service to any user and may refer fraudulent behavior to appropriate authorities.
Seller Conduct
Sellers and their agents are strictly prohibited from bidding on their own items.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected by the affiliate managing the auction.
Shipping Information – Please Read
After the auction ends, go to your dashboard and select “Need Shipping.”
If you need shipping:
• Do not pay your invoice yet
• Shipping will be added by Wednesday evening
• Wait until shipping is added before paying
Once your invoice is updated and paid, your items will ship the next business day.
Your order will ship to the name and address on your invoice, so please make sure everything is correct.
We ship with SpeeDee, USPS, or UPS.
Shipping cost + a $12 handling fee will be added.

• Fragile or glass items are not insured for breakage
• Once shipped, the carrier is responsible for delivery
