Offered for sale is a 1991 Ford F-350 aircraft refueling truck showing only 18,365 miles. This heavy-duty regular-cab, two-wheel-drive chassis is powered by the dependable 7.3-liter International/Navistar IDI diesel V8 and features dual rear wheels, a 161-inch wheelbase and an 11,000-pound GVWR.The truck is equipped for dispensing AVGAS 100LL aviation gasoline and carries UN 1203 gasoline placarding. Refueling equipment appears to include a polished-metal fuel tank, pump and filtration system, mechanical metering equipment, hose reel, dispensing hose, emergency fuel shutoff, grounding/bonding equipment, rear diamond-plate work platform, storage compartment and tank-access ladder.Manufactured in July 1991, this truck was originally built with Ford’s Ambulance Prep Package and was converted by American Refueler Equipment Company of Birmingham, Alabama. Municipal records identify this exact VIN as a former City of Mineral Wells aircraft fuel truck. The truck presents as a largely complete, purpose-built airport refueler with normal cosmetic wear, oxidation and surface rust consistent with its age and commercial service. An excellent candidate for an airport, FBO, private aviation facility, restoration project or specialized fuel-handling operation.Odometer reads 18,365 miles. Tank capacity, mileage status and operating condition of the truck and refueling system should be independently verified by the buyer. Fuel equipment must be inspected, certified and operated in accordance with all applicable aviation, fire, environmental and transportation regulations.
In addition The truck is equipped with a Mid-State Tank Co. aviation refueler tank manufactured April 26, 1999, making the tank approximately eight years newer than the 1991 Ford chassis. The tank is rated for a maximum payload of 4,700 pounds, with maximum loading and unloading rates of 200 gallons per minute. Based on the payload rating and the weight of AVGAS 100LL, the tank is believed to have an approximately 750-gallon capacity. Please inspect to verify the exact capacity
