This is a family owned car bought new in 1964 from Ken Ray Auto in Minneapolis by an uncle, currently owned by the second owner (Nephew by law), whom restored it at about 39,000 miles, putting approximately $30,000.00 in restoration cost, hiring nothing short of Minnesota's premier Chevrolet restorers (All paperwork and a time-lapse photo CD to verify this).
Upgraded rear end to 64' Impala Posi (Positraction). Original 2 speed power glide automatic transmission. Engine also is the original 283 V8, bored to 327, with a Holley 4 Barrel carburetor, '64 Chev factory dual manifolds, and dual exhaust to the rear. The engine has all the paperwork, and dynode at 310 HP.
All original mint condition interior, Cragar Rims, all original paperwork warrantees, owners manuals (ALSO ALL IN ORIGINAL MINT CONDITION).
For what this car is, it has a very low modest reserve.
We cannot emphasize enough that this car is a 100% original restoration, dually noted that ONLY FACTORY CHEV parts were used in the restoration when possible, and only the highest quality reproduction parts were used when applicable, including many new old stock original GM parts. The builder stated that this restoration would cost $55,000 in todays market, only 8 years later.
