This piece is completely original - from the dark wood finish to the beveled mirror, glass door, wood shelves, pulls and hardware. The locks work with the original keys (though functional, the locks take a little coaxing). We make this statement with certainty as we purchased it from an elderly couple (then in their 80s) who lived in Prior Lake and inherited it from a family member who purchased it. There are rough areas, particularly on the legs, but given its age and the fact it has never been refinished, it still looks pretty good. There is a piece of the metal "railing" that goes around the top of the china cabinet missing (see pic), some of the embellishment on the front cabinet doors is missing (see pic). There are no cracks or pock marks on the mirror and the glass is still clear with no chips or cracks. The wood shelves have grooves to display plates safely without an easel and are adjustable to accommodate taller items. Please note: it is VERY heavy - we weighed one of the swing out doors and it alone is 6 pounds. The doors and mirror can be removed for transport. Overall the entire piece measures 64.5" tall by 50" wide by 19.5" deep. The china display part measures 58" tall, 15" wide by 15" deep. The sideboard part measures 64.5" tall by 32" wide by 19.5" deep. There are numbers written in chalk on the back.
