Exceptional coffee table constructed of bent tubular chromed steel in two parts with solid chromed steel threaded caps. Possibly a Kipp Stewart for Directional design, and in the spirit of Paul Tuttle's "anaconda" coffee table for Strassle International. Its tubular base has the effect of appearing to be in two parts, and organically separate as the tubes move vertically. The base supports a thick, substantial rounded square piece of glass.Two conjoining large diameter chrome tubes are in a snake like design with chrome caps and a radius corner and a thick glass top minor with light scratches on glass consistent with its age being a late vintage 1960s piece with its original glass top. This is not a new piece of furniture, Circa 1965 - 1969.
